I grew up in a basketball family and was fortunate to follow in my parents’ footsteps, eventually playing competitively. After representing the Greek National Basketball team, I earned a full sports scholarship to a Division 1 college in the U.S. and moved here seven years ago. The experience of living in a new country and culture sparked my interest in the travel and hospitality industry. During college, I conducted research on sustainable tourism development in island destinations and launched a travel blog. Once I finished my studies and basketball career, I transitioned into hospitality, working at a Forbes 5-star property. This allowed me to master luxury service and exceptional hospitality standards.

I’ve taken these skills and applied them to my own travel agency, offering my clients the unique perspective of someone who has worked on both sides of the industry—as both a travel supplier and buyer. What began as a personal passion for travel and cultural exploration has grown into a full-scale luxury travel curation business, where I have the privilege of building long-lasting relationships with amazing people across the globe.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. The travel and hospitality industry has so many intricate layers to unpack and understand, especially in the luxury sector. From mastering operational details to understanding the nuances of guest expectations, it’s a constant learning curve. Whether it’s the logistics of coordinating high-end experiences or staying up-to-date with global travel trends, there’s always something new to grasp. My early years were all about diving deep into these complexities, understanding how different components of the industry work together to create seamless travel experiences.

Beyond that, stepping into environments outside of my comfort zone has been both challenging and rewarding. Moving to the U.S. was already a big leap, but transitioning from a competitive sports background to luxury hospitality brought a new set of challenges. Navigating cultural differences, building relationships with suppliers around the world, and managing unexpected situations while ensuring a top-tier experience for clients pushed me to grow quickly. Each of these hurdles taught me resilience, adaptability, and the importance of staying calm under pressure—skills that are now core to how I run my travel business.
