Hidden Gems: Meet Rene Zadori

Today we’d like to introduce you to Rene Zadori.

Rene Zadori

Hi Rene, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
My father was a photographer for many years, and he provided my initial introduction to photography. Following that, I pursued a photography program at CSUN and earned my BA in Visual Communications in 2012. After photographing a few small family events, I developed a deep affection for capturing people’s stories. Shortly thereafter, I secured my first wedding gig. The experience was truly incredible, and I will never forget my “aha!” moment because it marked the moment when I realized my desire to become a full-time wedding photographer. Initially, I found the utmost joy in photographing weddings throughout my hometown of Los Angeles. However, as my wedding portfolio expanded, I was introduced to more opportunities in the destination wedding market. From weddings in Lake Como, Paris, Thailand, and other stunning destinations worldwide. My passion now revolves around capturing beautiful weddings in beautiful places. My love for travel makes this combination of exploring and immortalizing people’s once-in-a-lifetime moments an absolute dream. I’m eagerly looking forward to the upcoming wedding season and can’t wait to discover what the future holds.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
When it comes to actual photography, it has always been exciting and has not felt like a struggle but more of a constant learning experience. The real struggle lies within the business aspect of photography. From the ever-changing landscape of marketing and social media to the daily challenges of managing the “perfect” business and providing the leading customer experience possible. Nevertheless, with my loyal, talented team by my side, we always find a way to overcome it all and do our best to provide the most personal yet professional client experience to not only our clients but our vendors as well. I always see my business as a gift and do not take it for granted (ever!).

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
Our goal is to gain our clients’ trust, capture their beauty, and make them feel comfortable enough to live the greatest day of their lives through our lens. We work tirelessly and take every initiative to always capture the perfect shot. We like to take both editorial and fine art imagery into our wedding style, which we believe makes our style of photography unique and easy to recognize.

We have been honored to be featured in high-profile wedding publications like Inside Weddings, Brides, California Wedding Day, The Knot, People Magazine, Carats & Cake, Grace Ormonde, among many others. With careful planning, in depth consultations, and bespoke styling, we take every initiative to customize an unforgettable experience for our couples. We believe every wedding and every client is unique.

We like to say, your wedding will be the absolute happiest day of your lives, the one time both your families will be by your side celebrating just the two of you. We are humbled to be considered for your once-in-a-lifetime day.

What do you like and dislike about the city?
What I truly love about this city is its rich cultural diversity; you can find it in the very fabric of our existence. Weddings are unique in that love is essentially blind. We capture so many mixed-cultured weddings, and it’s so incredible to see multiple cultures come together for such a joyous and profound day. In today’s tumultuous world, it’s a breath of fresh air to witness!

What do I like least? THE TRAFFIC! It’s unlike anywhere else in the world, but being blessed to live in the city that has given me so much makes it all worth it.
