Hi Kyle, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Hello. I’m Kyle from Able Shade Plus.
We are a premium window treatment company located in Buena Park, California, specializing in drapery, shades, shutters, and all types of custom window coverings.
Our business serves clients throughout Southern California.

My story is a bit like a boomerang.
My parents ran a fabric business for over 30 years.
I studied business in university and did consider taking over the family business at one point, but part of me wanted to take a different path.
So I tried a few different things, ran a small education-related business, even got into the restaurant industry for a while.

But eventually, I settled into my current path at the suggestion of my uncle.
My uncle had been running a window glass company for over 30 years.
I joined his business and learned everything from window installation.
As customers asked about window coverings, I naturally expanded into blinds and curtains.

In the end, I returned to the world of fabric, just like my parents.
It took time, but I found my way back. Just like a boomerang.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
What I do isn’t just about covering windows.
It’s about creating spaces that make people feel good.
Each client is different. They have their tastes, expectations, and reasons for using a room.
I take time to listen, understand what they’re looking for, and help them feel confident in their choices.
Together, we find the design that truly fits their home and lifestyle.

Even back then, I liked following detailed instructions and paid attention to every little piece.
