Today we’d like to introduce you to Jean-Pierre (JP) Sfeir.
Hi Jean-Pierre (JP), we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My journey didn’t begin with a grand plan to start a firm. It began with a simple belief: numbers should empower people, not intimidate them.
Early in my career, I saw firsthand how many individuals and business owners were overwhelmed by taxes, compliance, and financial decisions they didn’t fully understand—but were expected to get right. Too often, they were reacting instead of planning, paying more than they should, or missing opportunities simply because no one had taken the time to explain the why behind the numbers.
I knew there had to be a better way.
I built my career by mastering the fundamentals—tax preparation, accounting, compliance, and financial analysis—while also learning what most firms overlook: how financial decisions affect real lives and real businesses. Over the years, I worked with entrepreneurs, professionals, growing companies, and families, helping them navigate complex financial situations with clarity and confidence.
What I noticed was a pattern. Clients didn’t just want someone to file forms or calculate taxes—they wanted a trusted advisor, someone who could see the full picture, anticipate issues before they became problems, and help them make smarter decisions year after year.
That realization led me to create Fact Advisors.
I founded Fact Advisors with a clear mission:
to provide strategic, transparent, and forward-thinking financial guidance—not just transactional services.
From day one, the firm was built on three core principles:
Accuracy without shortcuts
Strategy over guesswork
Education and empowerment for every client
As the firm grew, so did the scope of what we delivered. Fact Advisors evolved into a full-service advisory practice, supporting individuals and businesses with tax planning, compliance, representation, and strategic financial guidance. We don’t just focus on where our clients are today—we help them plan for where they want to be tomorrow.
Being recognized as Best of Las Vegas – Tax Professional (2025) was an incredible honor, but more importantly, it was a reflection of the trust our clients place in us. That trust is something I never take lightly. I recently expended to Beverly Hills.
Today, I continue to lead Fact Advisors with the same mindset I had at the beginning:
listen first, think strategically, and act with integrity.
My goal has always been simple—to make complex financial matters clear, to help clients keep more of what they earn, and to ensure they feel confident every step of the way. Fact Advisors isn’t just a firm I own—it’s a reflection of how I believe financial advisory services should be done.
And this is just the beginning.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The road has not been smooth—and I wouldn’t change that.
Like most entrepreneurs, I didn’t face one big obstacle, but a series of smaller, relentless challenges that tested my discipline, patience, and belief in what I was building.
One of the earliest struggles was doing everything myself. In the beginning, I wore every hat—advisor, preparer, strategist, operations manager, and problem-solver. There were long nights, tight deadlines, and moments where growth felt slower than the effort being put in. Learning when to delegate, how to build systems, and when to say no was a difficult but necessary lesson.
Another major challenge was earning trust in a crowded industry. Financial services is highly competitive, and many clients come in skeptical—often because they’ve been burned before. I had to prove, client by client, that my approach was different: transparent pricing, proactive planning, and clear communication. That trust wasn’t given—it was earned through consistency and results.
There were also moments of financial pressure. Reinvesting in the business—technology, compliance, education, and people—sometimes meant sacrificing short-term comfort for long-term stability. Building a firm the right way required discipline and restraint, especially when faster but riskier shortcuts were available.
Perhaps the most underestimated challenge was setting boundaries. When you genuinely care about your clients, it’s easy to overextend yourself. Learning how to protect my time while still delivering exceptional service was a turning point that allowed the firm to scale without burning out.
Each struggle forced me to sharpen my strategy, refine my systems, and stay grounded in why I started Fact Advisors in the first place. The obstacles didn’t slow me down—they shaped the firm’s standards, culture, and values.
Today, those experiences are the foundation of how I advise clients. I understand pressure, uncertainty, and risk—not just in theory, but in practice. And that perspective allows me to guide others with empathy, clarity, and confidence.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Fact Advisors is a strategic tax and financial advisory firm founded on one core belief: clarity creates confidence. We exist to help individuals and businesses make smarter financial decisions by replacing confusion with structure, strategy, and foresight.
At our core, we specialize in tax planning, tax compliance, and representation, but what truly defines us is how we approach those services. We don’t operate as form-fillers or reactive preparers. We work as long-term advisors, helping clients anticipate issues before they arise and build sustainable financial outcomes.
Fact Advisors supports a diverse client base—from high-earning individuals and entrepreneurs to growing businesses—by providing:
Proactive tax planning and preparation
Business tax strategy and compliance
IRS and state tax representation
Crypto Advisory and Investment Strategy
Ongoing advisory support for growth, restructuring, and optimization
Every engagement begins with understanding the full picture, not just the current tax year.
We’re known for being strategic, transparent, and results-driven. Clients come to us when they want more than basic compliance—they want answers, options, and a plan. We’re especially recognized for our ability to simplify complex financial situations and translate them into clear, actionable steps.
What Sets Us Apart
What differentiates Fact Advisors is our advisory-first mindset. We don’t just ask, “What happened?” We ask, “What’s next, and how do we prepare for it?”
We invest heavily in:
Education and continuous improvement
Technology that improves accuracy and efficiency
Systems that allow us to scale without sacrificing quality
We also prioritize accessibility. Clients know where they stand, what they’re paying for, and why decisions are being made. There are no hidden agendas—only informed choices.
What We’re Most Proud Of
Brand-wise, we’re most proud of the trust we’ve earned. Being recognized as Best of Las Vegas – Tax Professional (2025) reinforced what matters most to us: long-term client relationships built on integrity, consistency, and results.
Fact Advisors has grown not through aggressive marketing, but through referrals from clients who feel supported, protected, and understood.
Fact Advisors is more than a tax firm—we’re a partner in our clients’ financial journey. We believe good advisory work is proactive, honest, and strategic. Our role is not just to help clients comply with the rules, but to help them use the rules intelligently and ethically to their advantage.
When clients work with Fact Advisors, they gain more than a service—they gain clarity, confidence, and a plan
Let’s talk about our city – what do you love? What do you not love?
Since we operate in LAs Vegas an Beverly Hills, I’m going to talk about both.
Las Vegas:
What I like best:
Las Vegas is a city of possibility and momentum. It’s one of the few places where you can build something quickly if you’re willing to work hard and think strategically. The business environment is accessible, entrepreneurial, and surprisingly collaborative. There’s a strong sense that people here are building—companies, careers, and second chances.
From a business standpoint, Las Vegas rewards efficiency and adaptability. It’s a city where decisions get made fast, innovation is welcomed, and growth isn’t bogged down by unnecessary barriers. There’s also a unique diversity here—clients from every industry, background, and stage of life—which keeps the work dynamic and challenging in the best way.
What I like least:
Las Vegas is sometimes underestimated. Because of its reputation, people outside the city don’t always recognize the depth of talent, professionalism, and serious business activity happening here. Internally, that means local businesses often have to work harder to prove credibility on a national level—but that challenge also pushes us to operate at a higher standard.
Beverly Hills:
What I like best:
Beverly Hills represents precision, legacy, and excellence. It’s a market where clients expect the highest level of service, discretion, and expertise—and delivering at that level sharpens you as a professional. There’s an appreciation for detail and long-term thinking that aligns well with strategic advisory work.
The city also attracts individuals and businesses who are intentional about their financial decisions. They value planning, structure, and trusted relationships, which creates an environment where advisory services can truly make an impact.
What I like least:
Beverly Hills can be highly regulated and slower to adapt. The barriers to entry are higher, expectations are rigid, and innovation sometimes moves more cautiously. While that reinforces quality and standards, it can also limit flexibility and speed compared to more entrepreneurial markets.
Las Vegas and Beverly Hills represent two very different—but complementary—worlds. Las Vegas brings energy, opportunity, and scalability. Beverly Hills brings discipline, refinement, and elevated expectations.
Operating across both environments has shaped how we approach our work at Fact Advisors: agile yet precise, growth-focused yet disciplined. Each city has influenced our standards, our strategy, and our commitment to meeting clients exactly where they are.
Together, they’ve made our brand stronger.
