Today we’d like to introduce you to Jared Tavasolian.
Hi Jared, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I started off using exercise and weightlifting as a form of meditation in my early teens. It was a way to cope with the energy in my house and find balance the more I did it, the more I knew I wanted to help people find the same. It was a Healthy outlet to the chaos dysfunction. The more it worked out and was physically strong. I still suffered from digestive issues that were consuming at times. That sent me on a journey to heal myself. I think it’s usually those who are broken, searching for answers that find truth, and I traveled the world and spent many years Searching for health. They say when the student is ready, the teacher will appear that is exactly what happened to me after having traveled all over the world. I met a mentor in my city who was able to help me understand the body and heal. Once I regained my health, I wanted to share it with everybody because I realize how fruitful life can be when we feel our best and how many people are holding back because of that.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
My journey has been anything but smooth. In the last six years, I’ve had to close my business and restart it three times. Two of those being the deadliest forest fire in Southern California and the global pandemic. I had to endure being homeless and a single parent, I feel like it’s never easy. I also feel that because my approach to health requires an individual to take responsibility and look deep within people are more likely to settle for a quick fixes that don’t work. Our culture is obsessed with Band-Aids from supplements to detox is to IVs. Teaching someone how to live in balance is the lost Art.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Heal – Strong?
My business name is called heal – strong. I am a health coach with a specialization in pain and digestive issues. I teach people how to live and eat in a way to bring them back in the balance and support their body so they can feel good and have energy. I have seen that the body’s way of communicating is through pain; when most people are in pain they see it as a nuisance or an annoyance, but really, it’s your body’s way of getting your attention And letting you know that you are living out of balance. Instead of listening and making corrections, most people choose to ignore the signals and this creates pain and disease.
It’s hard for people to understand that in order to change, they need to change and that you cannot heal in the same environment that got you sick. I see people jump from program to program detox to detox cleanse to cleanse and never get better because they refuse to create awareness within themself. I don’t heal people because that is disempowering. Instead, I teach people how to heal themselves and reestablish trust in their body. Most people have lost sight of how powerful they really are, and have a false belief that their body is failing them. In my practice or utilize bodywork, nutrition, coaching that uses body temp and pulse as a feedback mechanism, as well as a metabolic analyzer to determine what a person needs to thrive.
We’d love to hear about how you think about risk taking?
Risk is a situation involving exposure to danger… We risk when we tell our partner we love them when we get in a car. I think every day that we wake up is a risk. There’s always danger of some kind. I think that most people enjoy comfort because it’s known and that in that known comfort, there is very little danger. But in order to have a different reality, one has to risk comfort to experience something new. For me personally, I can’t imagine, living without taking risks in every risk has some reward and some consequence.
