Today we’d like to introduce you to Dante Villalobos.
Hi Dante , we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Six years ago, my family made a bet on themselves. They discovered the transportation industry through Uber and Lyft, and rather than staying on the sidelines, they saw an opening and took it. In the middle of a global pandemic, when most businesses were shutting their doors, they launched Black Wolves Limo. They worked day and night, not just to build a company, but to hold a family together.
Toward the tail end of COVID, I stepped in, not because I had to, but because I believed in what they were building. I did whatever was needed: customer service, dispatch, affiliate work, even driving. I was all in because I saw the vision, and I knew it was bigger than the moment we were in.
That belief paid off. We’ve grown our fleet, expanded our reach across Southern California, and earned over 140 five-star reviews from a community that genuinely trusts us. But here’s what I hold onto: we’re still a small family company, and I think that’s our greatest strength. There’s so much room ahead of us, and we’re just getting started.
People don’t choose us because we’re the biggest name out there. They choose us because we treat them like family. Every ride isn’t just a transaction, it’s the beginning of a relationship. And that’s something we never plan to outgrow.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The path hasn’t been easy and I won’t pretend otherwise. When we first launched, survival was the only goal on the table. There was no five year plan, no investor backing, no safety net. Just a family that refused to quit during one of the most uncertain moments in modern history.
Once we came out the other side of the pandemic, we could finally lift our heads up and start thinking beyond tomorrow. That’s when the real work began, building structure, refining our brand, and learning what it actually takes to run a sustainable business in a competitive industry.
I won’t sit here and tell you we have it all figured out. We don’t. We’re still navigating rising costs, shifting market conditions, and the everyday challenges that come with growing a small business without a corporate safety net behind us. But that’s exactly what keeps us sharp. Every obstacle we’ve faced has forced us to adapt, to get creative, and to find ways to deliver a better experience than the companies with ten times our resources.
We’re not where we want to be yet, but we know exactly where we’re going.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Black Wolves Limo is a family owned black car and limousine service based in Southern California, operating primarily out of Los Angeles County, Orange County and San Bernardino County. We specialize in private, professional transportation, airport transfers, corporate travel, special events, and everything in between. But if you ask what we’re really known for, it’s not the vehicles. It’s the experience.
From the moment a client books with us, they’re not just scheduling a ride. They’re trusting us with their time, their first impression, their special occasion, or their early morning flight after a red eye connection. We take that seriously. Our drivers are professional, punctual, and personable, because showing up on time in a clean vehicle is the bare minimum. What separates us is what happens beyond that.
We’re a small company, and we lean into that. We don’t hide behind a call center or an algorithm. When you reach out to Black Wolves Limo, you’re talking to someone who actually cares whether your experience was good, someone who will follow up, make it right, and remember your name the next time you book. That personal touch is something the big players in this industry simply can’t replicate at scale.
What we specialize in is consistency and trust. Over 140 five star reviews across Southern California isn’t something you manufacture, it’s something you earn, one ride at a time. We’ve built a loyal client base not through flashy marketing, but through word of mouth and reputation. People come back because they know what they’re going to get with us, and they know we’ll deliver.
Brand wise, what I’m most proud of is what Black Wolves represents to the people who chose us. We’re not the cheapest option, and we’re not trying to be. We’re the option for people who value their time, their comfort, and being treated with respect. That’s our promise, and it’s one we show up to keep every single day.
What we want readers to know is simple: if you’ve ever had a bad experience with a rideshare or felt like just another transaction to a large transportation company, we built Black Wolves Limo for you. We’re here to raise the standard of what private transportation should feel like and we’re just getting started.
What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
What I love most about Los Angeles is the diversity not just in its people, but in its energy. Every city within LA has its own personality, its own culture, its own rhythm. That variety is what makes this place unlike anywhere else in the world. And beneath all of it runs this undercurrent of ambition. LA has a way of attracting people who refuse to settle and if you’re willing to put in the work and stay the course, this city has a way of rewarding that.
That said, LA isn’t without its challenges. The traffic is real, the airport congestion is relentless, and the ongoing construction seems like it never ends. But honestly? That’s exactly why I do what I do. Every delayed rideshare, every missed connection, every frustrated traveler standing on a curb at LAX that’s a person who deserves better. Black Wolves Limo exists because navigating this city shouldn’t feel like a battle. It should feel effortless.
LA gave my family the opportunity to build something. The least we can do is give something back one smooth ride at a time
