Hi Claudia, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Hi, I’m Claudia Galdamez, a licensed esthetician and acne specialist. I was born and raised in Honduras and moved to the U.S. seven years ago with a dream of building something meaningful of my own. What started as a passion for skincare grew into creating a space where people feel safe, cared for and truly seen.

I’m also a proud mom to my two and a half year old daughter, Luna, and currently expecting my second baby. In fact, Luna is the inspiration behind the name of my studio, Studio Luna Aesthetics. Motherhood has deeply shaped the way I show up for others, and nurturing people comes naturally to me, both at home and in my business.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. Building my business while juggling motherhood has been one of the biggest challenges. My schedule revolves around my daughter and now preparing for another baby, so there have been plenty of late nights, early mornings and moments where I’ve had to learn how to balance being fully present at home while still growing my business.

Starting over as an immigrant also came with its own struggles. Moving from Honduras meant leaving behind everything familiar and building a life and business from zero, without knowing anyone or having any resources. There was a lot of figuring things out on my own, learning as I went and pushing through self doubt.

But those challenges shaped me. They made me more resilient, more resourceful and more compassionate. They’re also the reason I’ve created such a nurturing space for my clients, because I know what it feels like to need support, care and a place where you can just breathe.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Studio Luna Aesthetics was created with the intention of being more than just a place to get a facial. I wanted it to feel safe, calm and personal, a space where you can truly relax and feel taken care of.

I specialize in results driven skincare, with a strong focus on acne treatments and long term skin health. I work closely with my clients through customized treatment plans, consistent appointments, and education so they truly understand their skin and feel empowered to care for it at home too. I take a lot of pride in the experience I create for each person who walks through my door. My facial massage has become a client favorite and is the part everyone looks forward to most because it helps them fully unwind while still receiving effective, corrective treatments.

Along with acne care, I also focus on age management and hyperpigmentation, offering services like chemical peels, LED therapy, microdermabrasion, nano infusion and other advanced treatments that help improve texture, tone and overall skin health. My goal is always to blend results with relaxation so clients never feel like they have to choose between clinical and comforting.

What sets me apart is how intentional and hands on everything is. I do not believe in rushing treatments or taking a one size fits all approach. Every service is customized, and I take the time to listen, whether we are talking about skincare concerns or life updates. I truly care about the person on my table, not just their skin.

More than anything, my goal is not just clear skin, it is confidence. When you come in for a facial, you are not just another appointment. You are truly cared for.

How do you think about happiness?
What makes me happiest is my life at home with my family. Being a mom to my daughter Luna and preparing to welcome my second baby has completely changed my perspective and taught me to slow down and appreciate the little things, the cuddles, the laughter and our silly everyday moments.

That same nurturing energy naturally flows into my business. Taking care of my clients feels like an extension of who I am at home. For me, true success is being able to balance both worlds, being mama by day, esthetician by appointment and helping people feel confident and cared for wherever I am.
