Exploring Life & Business with Yanelle Manuelle of RMS Media

Today we’d like to introduce you to Yanelle Manuelle.

Hi Yanelle, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
My journey began with a mother whose mother was an orphan, which resulted in a great deal of trauma for many generations. I grew up in South Central Los Angeles and from the very beginning of my life, I had this feeling of DeJa’Vu as if re-enacting a role that I had played before, and although I did not grow up wealthy in American standards, I always knew in my soul what a luxurious life felt like. Anyway, by age 12 I began running away from home and chasing boys, by and getting involved with gangs, and so many other things, All the while I was a total dreamer my first love was singing, my first musical influencer was Tina Turner, although I fell in love with the idea of singing there was no one to help nurture my passion.

Later I discovered that I really enjoyed all things entertainment, so I imagined for myself some very lofty feats, one of which was to establish “LA Daze Hollywood Nights” a Los Angeles Culture blog “Covering the Grime by Day and the Glam by Night” Next was “RMS MEDIA” “Marketing Solutions Made Simple” a third-party advertising agency, which serves a conduit in advertising for small to medium size businesses who have no marketing department and finally, “Certified Cali Girl” a women’s apparel company. There are so many things in-between like saving my best friend’s life and narrowly escaping death on numerous occasions a string of failed relationships and a whole lot of drama my entire life is a drama, a suspense, an action film and a reality tv show and a dam scandal, but I’ll save that stuff for later, I’m at the stage where I am working to build my future and the future of my companies. I have done so much of the work but there is still so, much more to do. Starting from the bottom be happy when I can finally say now I’m here. We are currently still in the trenches.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Things have been as smooth as an alligator’s back the biggest challenge is reprogramming my mind to assume success. There have been many hurdles, I believe my greatest challenge still to this day has been a lack of guidance and a lack of mentoring.
