Hi Victoria, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Arewa Photobooth started from a love of watching people come alive in front of the camera during events. Photo booths were such a memorable part of my college experience, there was always one at parties, campus events, and celebrations. Looking back, the moments that make me smile the most are the unplanned ones: grabbing friends, squeezing into the booth, and laughing through spontaneous pictures we still look back on today.

Those memories inspired me to create this business so others could experience that same joy, connection, and excitement at their own events.

“Arewa” means “beauty” in Yoruba, and that meaning is at the heart of everything we do. We strive to capture the beauty behind every smile, every celebration, and every genuine moment, creating experiences and memories that people can cherish long after the event is over.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Like many small businesses, one of our biggest challenges has been gaining exposure and building recognition in a competitive market. That was an obstacle we faced early on as well. Thankfully, through the power of social media and the support of our community, we’ve been able to grow our presence and begin making a name for ourselves throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex.

Each event, post, and shared memory has helped us connect with more people and continue building a brand centered around fun, beauty, and unforgettable experiences.

Arewa Photo Booth is a photo booth experience company focused on creating memorable, interactive moments that bring people together. We specialize in weddings, birthdays, graduations, corporate events, school functions, and cultural celebrations throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex. Our goal is to provide more than just photos, we create experiences that guests genuinely enjoy and memories they can take home instantly

What I love most about our city is the diversity and sense of community. There are so many amazing people to meet from all different backgrounds and cultures, which creates such a vibrant atmosphere. The city is always full of life and celebration, from weddings and cultural events to parties and community gatherings, and that energy is a huge part of what makes it special.
As a business owner in the events industry, it’s inspiring to be surrounded by so many people who value connection, celebration, and creating memorable experiences.
