Shaneen Bonner

From Homeless To Hollywood: Multi-award winner Shaneen Bonner tells the story of her journey from becoming homeless to becoming a businessman in the entertainment industry in her upcoming movie script, From Homeless to Hollywood.

Shaneen’s journey of homelessness was simply a terrible journey of living in an abandoned house without water or heat. Shaneen had a mission from God to come California. While traveling to California, the bus that she was on misplaced her clothes, so she didn’t have clothes to wear.

Shaneen has a story of redemption. She became a businesswoman in the entertainment industry. She owns Decree Records, Decree Radio, Decree Film Entertainment, and Decree Magazine.

We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
No, it hasn’t been a smooth road; my struggle is I became homeless.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
My businesses consist of a Record label, a radio station, a magazine, and a film company.

Decree Records was established in 2021. I started the independent record label to represent myself and others independent artists. The radio station was founded due to the artists getting airplay on a station. The magazine was created for promotion of the artists.

We started the film company based on the movie script that has won over thirty film festivals awards worldwide.
