Exploring Life & Business with Gianmarco Boccaccio of LaModaChannel

Today we’d like to introduce you to Gianmarco Boccaccio.

Hi Gianmarco, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I’m born in Siracusa-Sicily (Italy) the 12 June of 1988, with a strong passion for acting in theatre, I start work as an actor at 12, doing different shows throughout Europe for six years. Finished my first studies, devoted part of my life producing music and Djing, experimenting techniques of editing. I studied film post-production at CECC film academy in Barcelona, where I definitely have the opportunity to work in the production and post-production of films and direct my first short movie “Just a Life”. In 2009, I founded LaModaChannel a digital media and production company, aims to fill the communication void to take back control over the creative process focused on fashion and street cultures, with projects for brands, companies and magazines worldwide. So three years ago, I decided to move to LA and bring all my energy, looking for new creative projects. “I like directing movies and short videos, it’s my biggest passion”.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I think it was not a very smooth path, and I think there are always adversities and problems to overcome. The hardest part, for me, is finding a good team and working in synergy together. You also have to learn to wait sometimes and miss a few opportunities before choosing. Follow my instinct helps me a lot.

We assist our clients to reshape their market presence, delivering creative hi-tech multimedia solutions like Apps with Augmented Reality, Audiovisual Production Films, Documentaries, Fashion Editorials, Advertising and tailor made Press Office services. What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
For sure, I like the Energy of LA and all the creative stuff involved in this city, but I don’t like some regulations of our State, I would love that the hospitalization it will be free for everybody, no homeless in the street so houses and food for everyone, helping the community and open our frontier to everybody, no more Visa, just a country with huge of opportunities for all the world, no more frontiers.
