Sister Salon Co, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Sister Salon Co. started out in 2005 with 2 sisters wanting to provide their beauty services along side each other. The Sisters created a work environment that felt just like home. As demand for high quality, cohesive visual experience grew, so did the sister’s desire to provide more than just hair and makeup services. In 2024, Sister Salon Co. grew as a crew from 2 to 4 and became a powerhouse. Bringing in our 3rd sister was evolution into wardrobe styling, set design, luxury photography, and event hosting. The expansion of our team moved Sister Salon Co. into the next era of film, music video, production design, and high profile events. Our team curates full scale event hosting. Every project that we create is infused with heart, soul, and style.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
As perfectionist in the industry delivering highly technical services we’ve evolved into understanding the new era of fashion, trends, and society expectations and standards of beauty. We know when to be soft and casual or formal and exquisite. Its what the clients need and the challenge is to meet everyone’s specific expectations.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
We specialize in providing personalized, elegant beauty services that are centered around one thing: how our clients feel. We are known for our 1979 Airstream retrofitted full service salon and the fun/ funky vibes we bring with it. We are very proud of the lasting relationships we’ve built with our clients for over 20 years! What truly sets us apart is the atmosphere we create. We bring the pampering right to your door, making beauty more accessible without sacrificing quality. Whether it’s for a wedding, photoshoot, or daily event, we can accommodate diverse schedules & locations. In essence, we provide modern convenient approach to accessing beauty services, catering to individuals seeking professional treatments in a comfortable and personalized setting.

We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you?
Well the bad luck has tested us in every way. From last minute cancellations, traffic, wardrobe malfunctions, and even shipments vanishing, we have mastered the world of pivoting. This “bad luck” has pushed us towards better opportunities, deeper resilience, and sharper instincts.
Good luck has also tested us. Some luck has felt magical, but we’ve learned that luck only turns into something real when you are ready and willing to act on it. Someone once told us “You aint got to get ready if you stay ready”.
