Hi Ramandeep, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Professionally I am Registered Nurse. But I wanted to do my own business in beauty line so I quit my medical profession and started working as a brow artist. I worked at so many different places with different kind of people to get experience and learn new techniques. I had to go through alot of hate and discrimination by coworkers and owners to being people’s favorite brow Shaping artist. Even I got so many opportunities to work with celebrities like Gal Godot( The wonder women), Davina from Selling sunset and many more. So finally I open my first location in K-Town called Western Beauty And then 2nd location in North Hollywood called Rems Threading and Beauty. Even I am ready to open my 3rd location soon. My husband was very supportive during all time and he worked really hard so that I can focus on my dream.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
To work in beauty line i had to work different places to get experience and to learn new techniques but I had to go through alot for discrimination and hate due to being favorite brow Shaping artist by most of the clients. They liked to wait for me and my coworkers never liked that I started giving me hard time and mentally disturbance.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I love working on different kind of brows specially very tricky, over tweezed, different shapes then each other. I love to fix those eyebrows. My main focus is to make my clients satisfied and happy when they leave my chair. I like to take my time to shape them and fixing them, it takes me 15 to 30 minutes on 1 eyebrow . I always start with consolation, I feel communication with your client is very important because being a beauty artist we need to know it’s always team work. We need to focus what our clients want not what I know.

Do you have any advice for those just starting out?
Work hard, learn as much as you can. Never fear of anything or anyone except God, because you will face so many challenges and hate during your journey. Believe in your self and focus on your dreams and ignoreall the distractions.
