Today we’d like to introduce you to Nyron Alfred.
Nyron, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Came to the USA at 10, from the island of Dominica, since a youngin I felt like I was destined for something big I love music and I’ve bonded with 90% of people through music. I started to write music since 11 grade. I started to make music in college. I started taking it more serious dropping my first single and EP in the same year, since then I’ve been working in and out the studio dropping features and networking with artists. When I’m not recording music I’m writing; when I’m not writing or recording I’m shooting a video I stay busy with anything to keep the sword sharp. Big shoutout and props to HOPE (Mario) who spit knowledge when it comes to making music. I try to learn from other artists and my goal is to emulate my inspirations like Migos, 21 Savage, and Drake. I would like to say I’m versatile in my music trying every style out and trying to perfect it. Be on the lookout I’m working on my first studio album, with a lot more singles on the way for the summer.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
It’s been a smooth road for the most part, I would say as an independent artist it’s tough when comes to the financial aspect of funding studio time, equipment, shooting videos and paying actors and actresses for their time. Other than that I try to write, hop in the booth and finish at least song every session. My goal is to record a whole album in a 16-24 session about 15 songs.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I was always different, popular loner I would say everybody knew me and I vibes with most but I never really “fit in”. I enjoy my solitude and I’m introverted for the most part and that’s where I get all my work done. When a song comes to my head I start writing and I won’t stop until I finish it, I then find a beat and book a studio session. When it comes to what I specialize in it’s being financially focused, I’m most proud of getting to where I’m at versus where I came from I’m grateful for every opportunity and every chance I get to show out. I think my discipline and my willingness to learn sets me apart because I feel like a lot of people from my generation especially, don’t like to be told anything and they carry such high egos, maybe I’m different because I came from a third-world country.
Is there anything else you’d like to share with our readers?
Just need to get that one chance for people to hear my music, to be the only person that could give ‘em such a versatile playlist. R&B hip hop old school and modern rap, Afro Caribbean, you name it I’ll do it in the studio.
