Today we’d like to introduce you to Na’eem Walton.
Na’eem, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I started as a collegiate athlete and later transitioned into the world of entertainment after one day going on a hike to clear my thoughts. I was approached by a casting producer who was recruiting for the Bachelorette series at the time. I never ended up doing that show, but she help me land my first TV appearance on a game show (Snoop Dogg’s Jokers Wild) that created new opportunities and from that point forward, I decided to embark on a new career.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
There’s been many challenges along the way- financial difficulty, learning to balance money and creating art, not compromising my morals for a greater position, and becoming a parent in the beginning of my journey. Just to name a few.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I’m an entertainment entrepreneur- commercial actor, model, influencer, reality personality, and designer. My most proud accomplishments would be my dating segment on Steve Talk Show (Steve Harvey) cultivating a creative scene in Canada, and my collaboration with Chanel.
Are there any apps, books, podcasts, blogs or other resources you think our readers should check out?
One of the things that help me do my best and realigns my focus are online sermons from the World mission society church of God. There’s a book titled “Mother’s Wish” that’s very powerful to me. Also, just taking time away from all digital media and social detoxing.
