Today we’re excited to be connecting with Lindsey Wilson again. If you haven’t already, we suggest you check out our prior conversation with them here.
Lindsey, thanks for joining us again. Just to level set a bit for folks who may have missed our last interview together, can you briefly introduce yourself?
I’m so excited to reconnect and share more about my journey with OWL Venice! For those who may not be familiar, I started OWL (One Whole Life) Venice nine years ago as a deeply personal mission to heal my own digestive issues. What began as a search for relief quickly evolved into a brand dedicated to helping others nourish their bodies, restore balance, and feel their best from the inside out.
At OWL, we take a holistic approach to gut health, offering allergen-free, organic products infused with medicinal herbs that support digestion, reduce inflammation, and promote overall well-being. What truly sets us apart is that we don’t just sell products—we support our customers every step of the way. Every person who embarks on a Reset or integrates OWL products into their routine has access to certified health coaches to help guide their journey. Wellness isn’t one-size-fits-all, and we believe that education and support are just as important as the nourishment itself.
Building and scaling this company has been an incredible journey—full of challenges, lessons, and growth. There have been highs and lows, but at the end of the day, I feel profoundly grateful that I get to help people feel better, reconnect with their bodies, and experience the power of true nourishment. That’s what keeps me going and what continues to inspire everything we do at OWL Venice.
Great, so let’s jump into an update on what you have been up to since we last spoke. What can you share with us?
It’s been a whirlwind since we last connected, and like any journey, the past 18 months have come with both challenges and exciting evolutions. Growing OWL Venice has been an incredible experience, but growth isn’t always linear—sometimes you have to scale back before you scale up.
We’ve spent this time restructuring for efficiency, refining our operations, and ensuring that as we continue to grow, we do so in a way that feels sustainable, intentional, and aligned with our mission. One of the biggest changes has been closing our storefront on Abbot Kinney—a bittersweet decision but one that allowed us to streamline the business and focus on what truly serves our community best. In its place, we’ve launched a pickup window just up the street, where customers can now grab hot, nourishing broth to go—a simple, comforting way to experience OWL in daily life.
We’ve also been working on packaging updates, fine-tuning the look and feel of our products to better reflect the quality and care that goes into each one. While change is never easy, these shifts have been part of a larger vision to create a stronger, more sustainable foundation for the future.
Through all the ups and downs, what keeps me going is the community we’ve built and the unwavering belief that when people have access to real, healing nourishment, their lives transform. I’m excited about what’s ahead, and I can’t wait to continue evolving OWL in ways that better serve our customers, expand our reach, and deepen our impact.
Thank you for following along on this journey—I truly believe the best is yet to come!

Was there a moment in your career that you can tell us about that illustrates or demonstrates the kind of person you are, your approach, ethos, etc.
There isn’t just one defining moment that encapsulates who I am as a founder—rather, it’s been a series of micro-moments that have shaped both me and OWL Venice. It’s the daily decisions, the tough calls, and the unwavering commitment to showing up, no matter what.
Building and leading this brand has required me to be brave, resilient, and deeply rooted in my values. Every challenge, whether big or small, has been an opportunity to reaffirm why I started this journey in the first place—to create something that truly nourishes people. I’ve had to persevere through uncertainty, trust my instincts, and make decisions that protect the integrity of OWL, even when they weren’t the easiest path forward.
I approach every moment—every pivot, every obstacle, every success—with the mindset that as long as I stay true to my standards, my mission, and my vision, I’m moving in the right direction. Being a founder isn’t about a single defining event—it’s about consistency, conviction, and the willingness to show up fully, every single day.
