Daily Inspiration: Meet Eurice

Today we’d like to introduce you to Eurice.

Hi Eurice, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I never thought I’d be an actor, model, or even in front of the camera in anyway. I loved the industry, but preferred to be behind the scenes as I loved creating stories and had intense stage fright. I went to CSUN for Film Production and ended up changing my major to Emerging Media due to the pandemic. During that time, I got scouted at a Target (initially thinking I was getting scammed) and figured it would be a great chance to learn the actor’s perspective on sets. I really wanted to get out of my comfort zone and this was my chance. My first booking was in 2020, middle of the pandemic, for the music video “Let’s Love” by David Guetta ft. Sia. I still remember the fear and excitement I had for my first booking! I was probably interviewing everyone on their roles on set and goals in life lol. I still do that to this day as I find everyone’s stories so fascinating! Although when posed with the same question about my goals… I didn’t know. The world changed so much and so did I, but when the music video came out I completely changed my perspective. From there I started streaming on Twitch, modeling clothes and beauty products, continuing my acting journey through commercials and now films! I interned with Endemol Shine through the Television Academy Foundation Diversity & Inclusivity program. I grew my confidence over time and the belief that I could do something different thanks to my family, friends, and agents who have supported me.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
At the beginning of my journey, I was taking care of my mom who had breast cancer. I am an only child and at this point I needed to make sure I did what was best for my family. I took classes during my school breaks to finish faster, had part time jobs to help with bills, and having to make the hard decision to put down my childhood dog due to kidney issues and brain damage. All of this while dealing with a gnarly concussion due to a bike riding accident. Right after her recovery, the world was shut down by the pandemic. Everything happened all at once and felt soul crushing. Picking a creative industry was also not an easy choice as it felt like the odds were against me, especially with what had been going on at the time. Who knew what the world would look like after all this and did I waste my time? Many people voiced their opinions and I almost complied longing for safety and stability. The road definitely has had a lot of bumps along the way, but I made the most with what I could and never lost site of my goals. I graduated early because of my hard work and ended up going back for my Master’s! I didn’t care to walk the stage, but as a first generation American college grad, I knew it meant so much for my family. The whole journey has been worth it and I would never change a thing.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
Since starting this career path, I have held principal roles in many commercials ranging from Airheads to Nintendo to Samsung. A few years in, I made the big leap into short films which lead to Film/TV. In September of 2026, my very first feature film will be out, “Always Remember”! After being on set for this, I knew I found my perfect place in this industry. A short film that I am so proud to be a part of “Lex Talionis”, will also be coming out this year. And many more projects to come!!! Even though I’ve been on and off, I have continued to make content and stream my gaming over on Twitch. This has been my main form of creativity at home as I always loved to play games. I haven’t lost sight of my passion for creating stories, I just added new paths along the way. Recently, I have been getting back into creative writing and picked up my camera again. As for new things, starting my voice acting journey has been a fun ride! The possibilities are endless! From my first gig to my most recent, I’ve learned so much and hope I continue to grow. My parents raised me to be authentically myself everywhere I go and to be the best “Eurice” that I could be. I am an artist, actor, model, content creator, but most of all, I am ME!

Before we go, is there anything else you can share with us?
Keep going! At the end of the day, the only person who was truly stopping me at any point was me. When the odds are stacked against you, find a way to stack against the odds!!! Thank you to everyone who believed in me and thank you for reading.
