Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It definitely wasn’t a smooth road. I had to face made hurdles for example, financially not being able afford my own dj equipment and working other jobs to save up for it. I also had to prove to promoters and others that I know how to DJ by Djing house parties and other types of events for free just to get the exposure. All of the adversities I faced pushed me and also helped me to learn more about the industry and how things worked and that played a major part in my career which helped me to become the successful DJ that I am today.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Disc Jockey who has a background in Information Technology. I specialize in djing Caribbean genres like Reggae, Dancehall, Soca, Afrobeats, and Latin. I’m proud producing events in Los Angeles for Caribbean Diaspora. I also had the opportunity to executively produce two singles titled ‘Soca Feteish – Abdiel” and ” No Regrets – DJ WillyWonka ft itsENJ” that are available on all audio digital platforms. I had the opportunity to DJ international in Barranquilla, Columbia and Belize. I also had the opportunity to do a college DJ Tour visiting numerous colleges/universities in New York State. Then led me to get the opportunity to DJ at UCLA and Oregon State University.

I wouldn’t consider myself better, but I have a unique sound that represents me. My passion and love for music is deep. I love digging in my crates and surprising the crowd. At the end of the day, I just love to see people dancing and being happy.

What would you say have been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
Be Humble and kind to all the people you cross paths with. Also, be patient and put in the work because nothing comes at your doorstep. Find what works for you. Be sure your surrounded with the right team of people.
