Victoria Sirakova

Victoria, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I started when I was in school. I got my first camera when I was 15-16 years old, and since then till nowadays photography become my passion. From the beginning, I changed a lot of niches and styles. I wanted to find something that really inspires me and keeps me going, so in the end, that was working with celebrities. I love the feeling when your work is seen by so many people. It’s hard, it’s challenging, but at the end of the day, you feel like you made it.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Oh, it’s never easy. I feel like anything along the road is challenging. The struggles are at first to find a connection, and the second is to keep up the good and hard work so you can be the preferred choice by clients. There will be times that you want to stop, but you always have to remember why you started and if you want to give up, what will be the next new passion that can stuck with you when you are in your own path. It is ok, to change, people doing this all the time, but it’s your responsibility to chase your own happiness and the carrier you always dream of.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I have been a photographer for 11 years now. I started with weddings and family events and went all the way to celebrities. I know with my “always on time”, quick turn around and the best experience I can give to the clients. Likewise I am most proud of achieving my dreams to work in Hollywood, to had 2 billboards from last year one on Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles and one on Times Square in NYC, I did couple magazine covers and made a lot of people smiled!

What matters most to you?
In my career, the most important is to make people happy and to create the most great memories for them. Photography is magic, and the pictures stay with us forever.
