-Mother was on drugs
-Abused in foster moms
-Lived in 8 group homes
-Special ed classes until 7th grade
-slept in a mens homeless shelter when I moved to LA my first 6 months
– cleaned my acting classes in order to pay for them
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Im an actor writer and now producer. I have wrote ducted and starred in 3 stage plays. Im currently writing and plan on leading a shirt and a web series. Also co-producing a feature film.
I also star in the Tyler Perry show Sistas and is my most promient role to date.
Im most proud of th fact I spent the first 5-6 years getting no roles struggling to find my in the industry. But despite that, I’ve now been able to support myself and family for the last 7 years solely through my art and acting career.
We’d love to hear about any fond memories you have from when you were growing up?
Nearly drowning off the coast in Catalina Island on a 6 grade school trip with my best friend because we didn’t listen to the scuba instructor. They had to get lifeguards to come get us because it was in January and the water was freezing. So we almost droned and froze to death lol. Me and my boy at the time were just laughing saying “Go with the flow” and we still laugh about that to this day,
