Hi Jasmine , we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’ve been interested in sewing since I was 7, and after my grandmother passed away, my parents let me go through her belongings one day, where I discovered a stash of needles, thread, and other sewing supplies, which clicked for me. Although I’ve always made clothes for myself, I never took it seriously until I started modeling; as someone with a natural body shape, I often found store-bought clothes from brands like Fashion Nova to be too basic and unfit. That’s when I began creating my own designs to better suit my style and body.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Embarking on the journey of entrepreneurship hasn’t always been easy; it can be intimidating to leave a stable 9-5 to pursue my own business. While I sometimes experience doubts, the unwavering support from those who believe in me motivates me to persevere. Ultimately, staying true to my passion is paying off, and I’m grateful for the growth and fulfillment that come with following my dreams.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am a fashion designer specializing in one-on-one custom clothing for clients in the entertainment industry worldwide, from Atlanta to London. My style blends grunge aesthetics with high fashion, and I am passionate about creating standout pieces for the runway.

Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
I hope that my visions and designs lead me beyond what I ever imagined, and all I can pray for is to give my absolute best in everything I do.
