Conversations with the Inspiring Annabella Baluyut

Today we’d like to introduce you to Annabella Baluyut.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Annabella. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I’ve always had an affinity with anything and everything FASHION. I was born into a family in the fashion industry. My grandmother and my mother owned a bridal/formal boutique in the Philippines and brought the business to Sherman Oaks, CA in the late ’70s. I’m a freelance fashion stylist and now, a budding influencer which I enjoy very much. I love inspiring others to feel good about themselves through my fashion style, beauty secrets, health & wellness tips and, of course, all at a discount! Now, I have a daughter and a son who are also up and coming fashion bloggers and influencers.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
In life, there will always be obstacles and challenges to help us grow into our best selves no matter what path or journey we choose. That being said, I don’t have any specific obstacles and challenges but I did have some not so good days which I dealt with meditating. Also, writing down goals and my “reason why” I’m doing what I’m doing helps me persevere. It’s also helpful to know what kind of end result you want for yourself and the people you want to impact through your work/job as an influencer. What are you selling? For me, I’m selling self-love, confidence, happiness, joy and a love of life through my eyes.

So let’s switch gears a bit and go into MsBellaStyle story. Tell us more about it.
I love inspiring and helping people to feel good about themselves in all areas of LIFE. I started sharing things about myself- fashion, family, lifestyle, beauty and health/wellness on Facebook, mostly just for fun and to connect with family and friends. Then, I started sharing more on Instagram a couple of years ago which I enjoyed more because it made me feel that I could just share photos of things I liked and tag the brands I’m wearing or products I’m using. After I turned 50 early this year, I started to look into how I can monetize my Instagram page. I found lots of helpful tips through searching on Google and also connected with a friend of mine who is an “influencer.” My biggest inspiration right now is my 22-year-old daughter who started a blog this year. She and I are now helping each other grow our business. Brands started approaching us to collaborate with them to promote their products! What makes me different from other Influences is that I’m 5″ ft. tall, 50 & Fabulous” with a purpose to spread love and joy through my shoppable posts and inspiring words of wisdom.

For good reason, society often focuses more on the problems rather than the opportunities that exist, because the problems need to be solved. However, we’d probably also benefit from looking for and recognizing the opportunities that women are better positioned to capitalize on. Have you discovered such opportunities?
Yes, absolutely! There are lots of opportunities for all women to do whatever they want to do. My best advice for all women out there, no matter what race, age, belief… you can achieve anything you want to as long as you have the faith and courage to get what you want and be who you are for the greater good. As long as you are spreading love and light, you will attract good and positive opportunities to have a fulfilling journey in your business life and your personal life as well.

What a great article on a beautiful woman both inside and out. I had the pleasure meeting her through a mutual friend several years back. She has been my stylist ever since! You can’t go wrong with her visions. She is an artist at her craft. Great woman with great style and a beautiful family as well. Congratulations Annabella. This is well deserved xox
