After exploring different paths post-high school, I discovered my passion for skincare and enrolled in esthetician school. Simultaneously, I gained practical experience at a pharmaceutical skincare company, deepening my industry knowledge.
Post-graduation, I specialized in speed waxing at European Wax Center and later honed my skills in facials and waxing during a four-year tenure at a spa. Notably, I developed expertise in Brazilian waxing and vajacials, fostering body positivity by providing inclusive and personalized services.
Feeling confident, I ventured into solo practice amid the challenges of the pandemic. Today, as a licensed esthetician, I bring a wealth of experience, a passion for skincare, and a commitment to exceptional service with a focus on body positivity. Navigating the beauty industry independently has been both challenging and rewarding, and I look forward to continued growth in this dynamic field.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back, would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
My journey in the skincare industry has been a profound learning experience. Juggling the roles of a business owner, content creator, brand ambassador, wife, and mother to a vibrant 5-year-old has presented both challenges and rewards. While navigating this multifaceted journey, I’ve encountered numerous learning curves, especially in the early stages.
Setting up and organizing my business demanded a steep learning curve, and I openly acknowledge making mistakes along the way. Balancing the intricacies of content creation, brand representation, and family life required meticulous planning and adaptability.
Despite the challenges, the love for what I do fuels my determination. The lessons learned from both successes and missteps have been invaluable. They have not only shaped the growth of my business but have also contributed to my personal and professional development.
I am grateful for the dynamic experiences that have shaped my journey, and I embrace the continuous evolution that comes with being a part of the skincare industry. Each role I embrace, whether as a business owner, content creator, or mother, contributes to a rich tapestry of experiences, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything!
