Hi DENISSE, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Unlike most working mystics, I won’t claim that I was anything special or gifted since birth. As a first-gen immigrant, I wasn’t the least bit interested in anything spiritual. I was more focused on “making it.” It wasn’t until I had finished my undergrad and was studying for law school when I abruptly started having intensely powerful and yet extremely subtle experiences. Things like voices in my head telling me what to do to avoid something or books flying off shelves and hitting me square in the chest. As a pre-law girlie, I considered myself to be a very practical and reasonable person. Ironically, this self-awareness is what made me trust these experiences all the more. I knew there was no way I was crazy or making them up. I viewed these sudden psychic superpowers of mine as something I needed to get to the bottom of– something I had to figure out. Following the intuitive breadcrumbs is how I ended up abruptly quitting my job with no savings and no backup plan. I don’t know where the confidence to do that came from but I figured, “Maybe I’ll just lean into this psychic thing and do readings on the side for money until I find a job that I truly love.” It’s been 8 years and I guess I never found a job that I loved more than being an Akashic Records Practitioner and mentor. I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that I’ve found my calling in ushering women through their own subtle experiences and helping them reconnect to a source of power and love that transcends the limitations we previously accepted for ourselves. Today, I work for myself and I live traveling as a nomad. My work has taken me through Egypt, Mexico, Colombia and next year, I’ll be in Asia. I am energized by the work I do, not drained. I remember how miserable it felt to feel like I didn’t own my own time. The 9-5 life supporting someone else’s mission just wasn’t for me. It’s not lost on me what a privilege it is to live my life on my own terms, to earn an income the way I want to. I get to live a life I used to dream of and it’s all because I had the courage to get to know a subtle but powerful force. I couldn’t control it or predict its next move but somehow deep down, I knew it was leading me towards opportunities to truly fulfill my own potential. Like me and this secret force had a shared objective; to see what I was really made of if I was left to my own devices. Deep in my heart, I firmly believe my story isn’t unique. I think it’s available to anyone willing to step into the unknown. It’s like the Akashic Records once said to me in one of my early session, “All are given equal opportunity in the Akashic Records. Few take that opportunity to allow themselves to become extraordinary.”
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Defying an existing system never comes easily. Entrepreneurship freed me in a lot of ways but it also taught me that my life is my own responsibility. I can blame, I can excuse and I can delay but at the end of the day, if I’m not satisfied then it’s up to me to shift that. On a spiritual note, the answers aren’t always easy to deliver. I remember being cancelled for publicly denouncing the covid vaccine, especially if administered to kids. At the time that I published that reading, the vaccine hadn’t been approved for minors yet. People were foaming at the mouth trying to make me out as a fraud. Days later, the vaccine was approved for children 12 and up. It’s like that pretty often. I predict something and at the time of publishing it sounds outrageous but as the years go by, the predictions still come through without fail. It’s a big responsibility to carry but to me, it’s also rooted in love. I deeply love humanity, even if I don’t agree with every individual human per se, I chose to come here and act as a bridge between the material and the subtle. And I’ve made that same choice in thousands of lifetimes. Why would someone do that? Why would someone jump in front of a moving vehicle to save someone else? I don’t know. The closest thing I can define it is as “the divine impulse.” There’s a kind of unconditional love running in our souls that defies all logic and limitations. Where my faith fails me and when my doubt causes me to hesitate, the passion takes over. The divine impulse moves me even when I’d rather not take a step further. It’s an experience I wish for everyone. There’s safety in knowing there’s a bigger plan for your life than your own.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
Mercurious Arts & Divinations is the safe space I created where mysticism meets mastery. Most human beings are quite intuitive but in my humble opinion, mystical experiences without mastery don’t allow us to really stretch into our potential as human beings. Through Mercurious, I train women to open the Akashic Records and become professional channelers, teachers, and spiritual leaders in their own right. This work goes beyond intuition. To me, mastery is about precision, sovereignty, and embodiment. I don’t just help people connect with the unseen; I teach them how to translate those insights into tangible evolution in their lives and communities.
What sets my work apart is the uncompromising focus on integration and power. In an industry often centered on transcendence, my work anchors spirituality back into the body, business, and daily life. My students don’t just “read energy”, they learn to wield it responsibly, ethically, and effectively. They learn to engage in balanced relationships without compromising their needs. They learn to feel intense love without needing to control it. They learn how to follow the guidance of nature and never miss a signal meant for them.
Brand-wise, I’m most proud of the way Mercurious has redefined what it means to be a modern mystic. We’re not chasing light, we’re devoted to truth. And sometimes that truth is unpleasant, disruptive and uncomfortable. But just because a truth disrupts your comfort zone, doesn’t mean it’s any less pure. I’m proud that I’ve taken the “good girl” programming out of what it means to be a “divine feminine.” Mercurious tends to attract women who are ready to become thought leaders, healers, and catalysts of change, not just seekers of meaning. The kind of women who know deep down, the rules don’t apply to them. The women who want to make a meaningful impact at a huge scale before their time here is up.

Any big plans?
I’m not immune to the political and economic realities of our time. I think a lot of young people are out there feeling hopeless and overwhelmed because with everything going on, it makes it difficult to plan for the long-term future. As a working psychic, I’ll take this opportunity to say this: if you want to invest your resources into something that will withstand the incoming structural changes we’re in for, then I would advise dedicating yourself to contributing meaningfully in your communities. It may not feel like you’re saving the world right away but what if you can save just one person? What if you can be prepared for the day when the Universe asks you to lock in and be the hero in someone else’s low moments? I think that’s pretty heroic. It’s a waste of potential and time to feel sorry for yourself because you aren’t powerful enough to change the entire world at will. But have you saved even just one person, once? Sometimes doing that is much more intimate and impactful than one swift, grand gesture.
As for me, I’m pretty clear on my role here being a teacher so I will continue to actively look for every opportunity where my natural skills and talents are meaningfully appreciated and where they can help someone connect the dots in ways that propel their own leadership skills forward. I look forward to expanding my practice by continuing to educate women all over the world. I already mentioned I’d be traveling to Asia in the new year so I am looking forward to connecting with that land and hosting women-only retreats in other spaces where I’ve already cultivated trust and authority. Mostly, I look forward to continue serving my purpose and making complex metaphysical truths more accessible and easy to implement for others on the path of mysticism.
