Today we’d like to introduce you to Taylor Bentley.

Hi Taylor , we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Detroit native, Westside of Detroit to be exact (Fenkell) . I’ve been doing music and performing arts since I was a kid. Knew I was destined for the spotlight.
Debuted my first single November of 2019 and went viral for my witty bars in 2021. I’ve been on an upward trajectory since. New project Bentley Winters show

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Heavy is the head that wears the crown, something I say to myself often. As a woman in this industry the journey gets rocky. From the inappropriate business dealings to having to work twice as hard to get respect or even having to deal with stereotypes as a female in entertainment.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I am an Artist from Detroit ! Often called the “Michigan Missy”.
I create songs, I make beats, I make art as well as do locs. I’m proud to say I’m a well rounded artist with my hands in everything. I’m known for my fire bars and unique sounds, performance and delivery. I’m most proud that I built my platform on my own, from my own talent

Is there anyone you’d like to thank or give credit to?
My family plays a huge role in my success. My fiancé , my former and current management plays a huge role in my success and most importantly my supporters and the most high. Without them I’d question my reason to continue to be public with my art and thanks to them I’m confident in my work
