Today we’d like to introduce you to Leore Oren.
Hi Leore, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
My sister and I started The Ceremony Club a little over four years ago, originally as a creative outlet where we were designing custom pieces for weddings. At the time, we were both drawn to the idea of making special moments feel even more meaningful through thoughtful design. One of our first products, our wedding newspapers, ended up gaining a lot of traction and showed us how much people valued having something tangible to hold onto from such an important time in their lives.
As the business grew, we started to think more long-term about what we wanted to build. We realized that what resonated most wasn’t just the customization, but the feeling of having something physical that holds your memories. That’s what led us to create our photo albums and keepsake products, pieces designed to live in your home and be revisited over time.
Over the past few years, we’ve continued to refine the brand and really focus on creating products that feel timeless, elevated, and meaningful. What started as a wedding-focused business has now grown into something much bigger. We’re expanding into all of life’s milestones, because at the core of it, we’re here to help people hold onto their memories in a way that feels intentional and lasting.
It’s been a journey of evolving, learning, and growing alongside our customers, and that’s still what drives us today.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It definitely hasn’t been a completely smooth road. A big part of our journey has been learning as we go. Since we’re both in our 20s and didn’t have prior experience running a business, a lot of it has been figuring things out in real time.
But honestly, that’s also been one of the most fun parts. It feels like a never-ending puzzle that we’re constantly trying to solve. There are always new challenges as we grow, whether it’s operations, hiring, or scaling, but each phase teaches us something new.
There have definitely been moments that felt overwhelming, but we’ve learned to take a step back, prioritize what actually matters, and move forward one step at a time. It’s all part of building something long-term, and we’ve come to really embrace that process.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
My background is in graphic design and textile design, and I studied at FIDM, which really shaped the way I approach both product and branding today. I’ve always been drawn to creating things that feel both thoughtful and visually impactful, and that’s carried into everything we’ve built with The Ceremony Club.
At TCC, I focus a lot on product design, branding, and the overall creative direction. We specialize in creating keepsake pieces that feel elevated enough to live in your home, not something you store away. I think what we’re most known for is taking something traditional, like a photo album, and reimagining it in a way that feels modern, intentional, and design-forward.
What I’m most proud of is how we’ve been able to build a brand that people truly connect with. It’s not just about the product, but the feeling behind it and the role it plays in people’s lives.
What sets us apart is that we really design with meaning at the center. Every product is created with the intention of holding something important, and we think a lot about how it will live with someone for years to come.
Before we let you go, we’ve got to ask if you have any advice for those who are just starting out?
I think the biggest advice is to stay consistent. It sounds simple, but it really is everything, especially in the early stages. There are going to be moments where things feel slow or uncertain, but showing up every day and continuing to build is what makes the difference over time.
