Check Out Bree Solomon’s Story

Today we’re excited to be connecting with Bree Solomon again. If you haven’t already, we suggest you check out our prior conversation with them here.

Bree, we are so thrilled to be connecting again and can’t wait to hear about all the amazing things you have been up to. Before we jump into all of that, some of our readers might have missed our prior interview, so can you take a moment to reintroduce yourself?
Thank you for having me back—it’s always a pleasure to connect! For those who might be meeting me for the first time, I’m Bree Solomon, owner of Black Diamond Tattoo in Los Angeles. We’re a premier tattoo studio known for blending artistic excellence with a client-focused approach. What sets us apart is our commitment to creating not just incredible tattoos but unforgettable experiences for every person who walks through our doors. My journey has been anything but conventional—from building my expertise in business development and marketing in television, to growing a creative space that celebrates individuality and artistry. Along the way, I’ve prioritized empowering my team, fostering meaningful relationships with clients, and staying deeply connected to the ever-evolving tattoo community. Black Diamond Tattoo isn’t just a business to me—it’s a reflection of my passion for helping people tell their stories through ink, and I’m so proud of what we’ve built.

Awesome, so we reached out because we wanted to hear all about what you have been up to since we last connected.
Since our last conversation, it’s been an incredible ride full of growth, challenges, and exciting opportunities. We’ve expanded our team with some truly talented artists who bring fresh perspectives and styles to our studio. One of the most exciting changes has been deepening our community involvement—we’ve hosted special events like flash tattoo days that give back to causes close to our hearts, which has been so rewarding.

Of course, there have been challenges, too—navigating the evolving landscape of the tattoo industry and balancing the operational side of the business with the creative energy that fuels us. But those moments have pushed me to innovate, strengthen my leadership, and stay grounded in why I started this journey in the first place.

Right now, I’m most excited about expanding our brand presence, both locally and digitally. We’re working on some exciting collaborations, revamping our online platforms, and creating even more ways to connect with our clients and followers. It feels like the next chapter for Black Diamond Tattoo is all about evolution and embracing bold ideas while staying true to our core values.

What do you want people to remember about you and your brand? What are some of things that you feel are most important, unique, special, etc?
Here’s a thoughtful response for that section:

What I want people to remember about me and the shop is the genuine connection we strive to create with everyone who walks through our doors. At the heart of our brand is the belief that tattoos are more than just art—they’re deeply personal expressions of identity, stories, and milestones. We take pride in not only delivering exceptional tattoos but also creating an environment where people feel welcome.

What makes us unique is our commitment to blending professionalism with authenticity. We’re not just a tattoo studio; we’re a community space. Every artist here brings their own unique style and passion, and together, we’ve created a space where clients can trust us with their stories and walk away with art they’ll cherish forever.

I also want to be remembered as someone who champions inclusivity and supports others in their creative journeys. For me, Black Diamond Tattoo isn’t just about running a business—it’s about building something meaningful that leaves a lasting, positive impact on the people and the community we serve.
