Check Out Ann Louise Christensen’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ann Louise Christensen.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I’ve dedicated my whole life to music endeavors; started piano lessons at 6, studied piano in college, came to LA for music school, started performing internationally in my 30’s….I opened up my studio business in 2010. During the Pandemic , my teaching business boomed as I lost all my gigs. Now I have a nice balance of both performing and teaching.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
money struggles have always been a challenge, being a freelance musician has a lot of ups and downs financially, I over came these challenges by networking, getting mentors, never quitting, reading The Art of War

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am a professional pianist, singer. I play for various organizations, I also teach music in my studio , I’m proud I was able to travel the world singing and playing piano in 5 star hotels. I’m also proud of the community I built with my singing class Piano Bar 101.

Alright, so to wrap up, is there anything else you’d like to share with us?
I also write music and am planning a concert in February 2026 celebrating 60 years in music.
