Anna, we’re thrilled to have you with us today. Before we jump into your intro and the heart of the interview, let’s start with a bit of an ice breaker: What are you most proud of building — that nobody sees?
What I’m most proud of building — that nobody really sees, is my inner resilience. The version of me that quietly rebuilt a life and a business from zero, in a new country, without family, without a safety net, and without a plan B.

People see my brand, my protocols, my results. But what they don’t see is the emotional structure behind it … the nights I had to convince myself to keep going, the pressure of constantly showing up for others while rebuilding myself in private.

I built a business, yes. But I also built a mindset that doesn’t wait for perfect conditions to start, that doesn’t need applause to keep moving. That’s the part I’m most proud of, and no algorithm or title can capture it.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Anna Astarte.
I’m a trichologist and the founder of a boutique hair restoration practice where science meets strategy. I specialize in solving complex hair loss cases with custom protocols that combine biology, diagnostics, and real-life adaptability.

I created ReGrowPro, a remote program that helps clients across the U.S. and Europe restore their hair without ever stepping into a clinic. But beyond the treatments, what I truly offer is clarity, no fluff, no false hope, just a structured path from “I’ve tried everything” to “my hair is finally growing.”

What makes my work different is precision. Every scalp tells a story, and I know how to read it.

Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. Who taught you the most about work?
If I’m being honest, no one really taught me how to work, I had to figure it out the hard way. There was no mentor handing me a blueprint. I learned everything by doing: by failing, rebuilding, adapting, and starting over in a country where I didn’t even know where to buy a good conditioner.

I built my own systems, my own standards, my own pace. I learned how to be the kind of professional I needed but didn’t have.

And now? I don’t just work hard. I work with precision. I don’t hustle to prove something. I build to protect what I’ve already overcome.

Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
Yes. There was a moment when I was alone in a new country with no clients, no network, and no one to call if things went wrong. I had left behind everything I built, not because I wanted to, but because life didn’t leave me a choice. And for a while, I didn’t see a future here. I didn’t see how I could start over again, not from zero, but from below zero.

Now, every time someone tells me “you saved my hair” or “you gave me back my confidence,” I remember that night when I almost gave up. And I’m glad I didn’t.

Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. What important truth do very few people agree with you on?
One truth I hold, and many people don’t like it — is that not every problem with your hair can be solved with a shampoo or serum. Hair is never just about hair. It’s a mirror of your inner state, your nervous system, your hormones, your stress, your grief.

And yet, we’re constantly sold the idea that “one magical product” will fix everything. I’ve worked with hundreds of clients, and I can tell you with confidence: real change happens when you stop treating your hair like a surface issue and start treating it like a reflection of your life.

People want shortcuts. I offer strategy.

Okay, so before we go, let’s tackle one more area. What do you think people will most misunderstand about your legacy?
I think many people will assume that my legacy is about beauty, but it never was. It’s about restoration , not just of hair, but of confidence, control, and identity.

What people might misunderstand is how much depth there is behind every recommendation I give. Behind every treatment there’s research, intuition, emotional labor, and the weight of hundreds of private stories I carry with respect.
