An Inspired Chat with TIDE- EYE of Venice Beach

We’re looking forward to introducing you to TIDE- EYE. Check out our conversation below.

TIDE-, so good to connect and we’re excited to share your story and insights with our audience. There’s a ton to learn from your story, but let’s start with a warm up before we get into the heart of the interview. Are you walking a path—or wandering?
Within the band we are all walking a path together. No one gets left behind. Sometimes it feels like we may be wandering, but we never fully lose sight of the goal we all share. While all of us can take the solo route with our talent and dedication, we all come together and bring something to the band which adds to the ever growing lightning we have formed in the bottle for this to come to life. Working together makes this dream come true. The path is long and winding, but persistence is key.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
We’re Tide-Eye, a Groovy Psychedelic Rock band born and raised in the heart of Venice Beach, CA. Our sound is a unique fusion of old-school and new-school psychedelia, driven by improvisation and the raw, unpredictable spirit of live performance. No two shows are ever the same and each set transforms with the energy of the crowd and the vibe of the moment, making every Tide-Eye experience one of a kind.
We just released our fourth album, Zodiac, and we’re already gearing up for our next release, set to drop in January 2026. In the lead-up, we’ll be releasing new singles every month starting in November, so stay tuned. We’re constantly gigging all over Southern California, and you can catch our upcoming show dates on our Instagram.
Whether you’re into trippy jams, experimental grooves, or just want to ride the wave of something groovy, Tide-Eye brings a sonic journey you won’t forget.

Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. What breaks the bonds between people—and what restores them?
What breaks the bonds between people is often the erosion of love and a lack of commitment. When care becomes conditional or effort fades, even close relationships can fall apart.
What restores those bonds is unconditional, mutual love. The kind that forgives, endures, and sees beyond our flaws. We’re all imperfect, but when love is real and shared, it has the power to mend what was once broken.

What fear has held you back the most in your life?
The fear that has held me back most in life is the fear of truly letting go, accepting what is, and allowing the universe to guide me with its higher wisdom. As humans, we often arrive in this world burdened with insecurity, unable to fully see our own worth or recognize the truth of who we are. From that blindness grows a constant sense of unworthiness, a need to prove ourselves, to grasp for validation rather than trust in our path.
But when we choose faith over fear and open our hearts to the deeper intelligence of the universe, a shift happens. Fear dissolves, and in its place comes clarity, peace, and a quiet knowing that we are already enough, and always have been.

I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. What’s a belief or project you’re committed to, no matter how long it takes?
We are committed to and believe in Tide-Eye. This band was started as a creative outlet for us as Psych Rock musicians ins L.A. It has grown into something that we are sure is already becoming bigger than itself. We all sink ourselves into our craft here and we create uninhibited by outside influence. We are an independent band in an oversaturated musical scene, but we truly believe in ourselves because of our hard work and dedication. It’s a long way to the top if you want to rock and roll and we’re here for it every step of the way. If we got into this business to make money we would have quit a long time ago. We stay driven because of how much joy this band brings to us, not only as four musicians creating together in a room, but also because of the energy and healing we get to spread to our fans in a room full of people. We are in for the long haul and here for the journey, not the destination.

Thank you so much for all of your openness so far. Maybe we can close with a future oriented question. What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
We hope that when we’re gone, the story people tell about us lives on through the music we created and not just as songs, but as moments that made them feel seen, understood, and less alone. We want them to remember the honesty woven into the lyrics, the emotion carried in every melody, and the connection that reached beyond words. If our music gave someone comfort, courage, or simply a sense that they mattered, then that’s the legacy we hope to leave behind not just a sound, but a feeling that stays with them. We want to leave something behind that is timeless and that anyone at any moment could truly relate to.
