We recently had the chance to connect with Nicole Dyer-Twyman and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Nicole, thank you so much for taking time out of your busy day to share your story, experiences and insights with our readers. Let’s jump right in with an interesting one: What is a normal day like for you right now?
My days are a mix of structure, faith, and focus. I usually start early—often before sunrise—with a quiet moment of prayer or reflection and a warm cup of ginger fennel or green tea to wake up my system. I like to move my body first thing, so I’ll get in about 30 minutes of fasted cardio to boost my energy before the workday begins. By 7 a.m., I’m logged in and ready for my role as a Senior Project Manager at Washington University. My mornings are filled with meetings, collaboration, and managing deliverables across my projects. Around mid-morning, I take a short break to lift weights and have my first meal of the day, staying consistent with my intermittent fasting routine—it helps me stay clear-headed and disciplined.
Afternoons are when I get my most focused work done—analyzing project data, planning timelines, and aligning my team on next steps. By 3 p.m., I shift gears from corporate life to family and passion work. I help my daughter with school or dance activities, then pour my heart into my wellness brand, Fit Fyne & Fabulous, where I teach women how to transform their health and habits. Dinner happens around 5 p.m., and that’s usually the last thing I eat for the day. My evenings are slower and more intentional—I journal, study for my PMP recertification, or spend quiet time in prayer to release the day. By 9:30 or 10 p.m., I’m winding down, grateful for what I’ve accomplished, and ready to do it all again with purpose, faith, and focus guiding me forward.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hi there! 💖 I’m Nicole Twyman, a health and wellness coach with Fit, Fyne & Fabulous, a faith-based community dedicated to helping women—especially those over 40—honor God by caring for their bodies, minds, and spirits. Our mission is simple but powerful: to help women transform their health from the inside out through prayer, accountability, and practical tools for living well.
What makes Fit, Fyne & Fabulous special is our heart-centered approach. We don’t just count calories—we pray, we meal prep, we walk together, and we grow together as sisters in Christ. Our community is filled with love, laughter, and support, reminding each woman that she’s not on this journey alone.
Right now, we’re excited to guide our divas through challenges like our Chair Strength Challenge and the upcoming End-of-Summer Sugar Detox, designed to help women rebuild strength, develop consistency, and renew their relationship with food—all while keeping God at the center.
Our goal isn’t just weight loss—it’s life gain. We’re helping women rediscover confidence, joy, and purpose in every season of life.
Okay, so here’s a deep one: What was your earliest memory of feeling powerful?
My earliest memory of feeling powerful was when I realized that my body could do more than I ever thought possible—not just physically, but spiritually too. 💪🏾✨
It wasn’t during a big moment, but in a quiet one—when I showed up for myself, stuck to a healthy choice, and prayed my way through the doubt. That’s when I understood that true power doesn’t come from perfection; it comes from consistency, faith, and obedience.
Feeling God strengthen me from the inside out—body, mind, and spirit—was the moment I knew: this is what empowerment feels like. It’s not about control, but about surrendering to His power working through me. 🙏🏾
Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
Absolutely. There was a season in my life when I almost gave up—physically, emotionally, and spiritually. I was tired of starting over, tired of feeling like I was failing my own health journey, and questioning if I was really called to lead other women.
But God met me right there in that moment of weakness. He reminded me that His strength is made perfect when I am weak (2 Corinthians 12:9). I learned that transformation isn’t about perfection—it’s about surrender. It’s about showing up, even when it’s hard, and trusting that God is still working behind the scenes.
That moment changed everything. Instead of giving up, I gave it to God. And from that surrender, Fit, Fyne & Fabulous was born—a community where women can find grace, accountability, and faith-filled strength to keep going, no matter how many times they’ve fallen. 🙏🏾💖
I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. What’s a belief or project you’re committed to, no matter how long it takes?
I’m deeply committed to helping women—especially women over 40—reclaim their health, confidence, and identity through faith. 💖
For me, this isn’t just a fitness project; it’s a kingdom assignment. I believe that when women learn to love and care for their bodies as God’s temple, everything in their lives begins to transform—physically, mentally, and spiritually.
That’s why I’ll never stop building the Fit, Fyne & Fabulous sisterhood. Whether it takes years or decades, I’m committed to seeing women walk in freedom from yo-yo dieting, self-doubt, and shame—and instead walk boldly in purpose, strength, and self-love. This mission will always be worth the wait. 🙏🏾✨
Okay, so before we go, let’s tackle one more area. If you retired tomorrow, what would your customers miss most?
If I retired tomorrow, I believe our divas would miss the heart-to-heart connection — the faith-filled encouragement, accountability, and love that remind them they’re never walking this journey alone. 💕
At Fit, Fyne & Fabulous, we don’t just focus on weight loss; we focus on life change. Every message, every Monday night coaching call, every prayer — it’s about helping women believe again in their strength, their worth, and their purpose.
So if I ever stepped away, I think they’d miss the consistency of having someone cheering them on, reminding them that with God, they can do hard things. 🙏🏾✨
