An Inspired Chat with natalie felikian

natalie felikian shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.

Hi natalie, thank you so much for taking time out of your busy day to share your story, experiences and insights with our readers. Let’s jump right in with an interesting one: What is a normal day like for you right now?
No two days look exactly the same right now — that’s the reality of running a fast-moving startup! Most days I’m juggling a mix of things: managing our sales channels across Amazon, DTC, and TikTok Shop; creating and refining content; and working on new projects or partnerships to get LAV in front of more people. It’s a lot of hats, but that’s what makes it fun.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I’m Natalie Felikian, the founder of LAV, Dress Well — a clean-ingredient salad dressing brand reinventing the way people eat on the go. We make single-serve packets of flavorful, Armenian-inspired dressings made with avocado and olive oil — no seed oils, refined sugar, or preservatives. What started as a kitchen experiment has turned into a fast-growing brand across Amazon, TikTok Shop, and retail shelves. My mission is simple: to make clean eating easier, more accessible, and way more fun.

Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. Who taught you the most about work?
I’d definitely say my parents — and really my family as a whole — taught me the most about work. They’ve always led by example, showing me what it means to work hard, stay grounded, and take pride in what you do. Watching them build their lives through consistency and perseverance shaped and still guides the way I approach everything today.

If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
I’d tell my younger self that things take time — nothing great is built overnight. Consistency and repetition might not feel exciting in the moment, but they compound into something meaningful over time. Every step, every small effort, every experience adds up and guides you exactly where you’re meant to be — even if you don’t see it right away.

I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
My closest friends would probably say that family really matters to me — and they’d be right. No matter how busy things get, I always try to stay connected to the people who ground me. Family has always been my biggest motivator and reminder of why I do what I do. They keep me centered, grateful, and focused on what’s truly important.

Thank you so much for all of your openness so far. Maybe we can close with a future oriented question. What are you doing today that won’t pay off for 7–10 years?
Right now, I’m building a food and beverage brand — and that’s definitely a long game. Creating something that lasts in this space takes time, consistency, and a lot of patience. Every decision, partnership, and piece of content today is part of laying the groundwork for where I want LAV to be years from now — something bigger than a product, a true lifestyle brand.
