Easy, it’s always a pleasure to learn from you and your journey. Let’s start with a bit of a warmup: Have you ever been glad you didn’t act fast?
Yes, with my latest album it took me 3 yrs to complete it because I wanted to get it right and be able to give the best possible art I could share
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Ea$¥ Pr0phyt I’m a Baltimore transplant who has been residing in NoHo for 4 yrs also I’m a USMC OIF Veteran. My interests are art,theatre,music,gaming. I stream via twitch for gaming and IRL content but I’m also in the process of trying to get into the game tester field if possible. “
A Lor Sumthin Xtra” is an album that I just finished and it’s dropping Nov 10 the Marine Corps Birthday which holds a special place in my heart being a Devil Dog. I am currently the leader of theCLOUDSURFERs which is a brand I created that has a roster of emcees who share like-mindedness. What makes me unique is my rap style I call it “avante garde” also I believe I’m one of the greatest rappers alive and ALSX will be the proof.
Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. Who were you before the world told you who you had to be?
The world could never tell me who to be because GOD rules so I’ve always been this way maybe a lor insufferable early 20’s lol but now I’m well rounded. I don’t have a main character complex but I definitely believe I’m here to do something greater then where I am at the moment.
Is there something you miss that no one else knows about?
I feel Baltimoreans may know but more so the 90s generation but it used to be a spot called “Lake Trout” and also “Micah’s” the food was A1 and they shut down so I’ll never get to taste that Lake Trout with the bread at the bottom soaking up the grease.
Next, maybe we can discuss some of your foundational philosophies and views? Whom do you admire for their character, not their power?
I admire Ye because he’s always thinking forward and larger than life. I’m sort of a Ye stan and sure his music is amazing but that’s because of the character.
Okay, we’ve made it essentially to the end. One last question before you go. What do you think people will most misunderstand about your legacy?
That I wanted to leave a legacy at all. I feel the world will continue to keep spinning after I’m gone and time will go by to the point where humans might not be on Earth anymore so what will legacy mean then?
