Good morning Alma, we’re so happy to have you here with us and we’d love to explore your story and how you think about life and legacy and so much more. So let’s start with a question we often ask: What do the first 90 minutes of your day look like?
The first 90 minutes of my day are intentional. I spend 15 minutes waking up, 10 getting ready, 15 driving, and then 50 minutes in a Lagree workout. It clears my head, centers me, and gives me the energy and discipline more than anything.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hi, I’m Alma Ramirez a real estate professional, proudly serving the vibrant communities of Southern California. My approach goes beyond just buying and selling homes I’m here to educate, guide, and empower people through every step of the process.
What makes my brand unique is my commitment to connection. I focus on providing clear, value-driven advice that’s both accessible and strategic whether you’re a first-time buyer, a seller preparing for your next move, or an investor looking to build wealth through real estate. My content, especially on social media, is all about delivering quick, insightful “nuggets” that simplify real estate without dumbing it down.
Outside of transactions, I’m passionate about helping people find stability and opportunity through real estate. Right now, I’m working on expanding my digital presence to reach more people where they are on their phones so I can continue making real estate feel less intimidating and more empowering.
Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. Who taught you the most about work?
The person who taught me the most about work is my mom. She didn’t teach me with lectures she taught me through her actions. Her work ethic, resilience, and ability to handle pressure with grace left a permanent impression on me. Watching her show up every day, even when things were tough, taught me the value of consistency, self-respect, and taking pride in whatever you do.
She showed me that hard work isn’t just about hustling it’s about showing up with integrity, treating people well, and doing things right even when no one’s watching. That mindset is at the heart of how I approach my work today.
What did suffering teach you that success never could?
Professionally, it showed me how to stand my ground when I felt underestimated, how to build from scratch when deals fell through, and how to keep my integrity when shortcuts looked tempting. While success brought closings and recognition, it was the setbacks clients who walked away, deals that collapsed at the last minute, moments of doubt that taught me resilience, patience, and the importance of doing things the right way, not just the fast way.
Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. What truths are so foundational in your life that you rarely articulate them?
God’s timing is better than mine.
As a businesswoman, it’s easy to feel like I have to control every outcome, chase every opportunity, or hustle nonstop to “make it.” But my faith reminds me that what’s meant for me won’t miss me and what misses me wasn’t meant to build me.
Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. What will you regret not doing?
What I’ll regret not doing is fully embracing my potential to help others whether that’s through real estate or simply showing up authentically in every part of my life.
Sometimes the fear of failing or not being perfect holds me back from taking bold steps. But deep down, I know the biggest regret would be settling for comfort instead of growth, or staying silent when I could have made a difference.
So, I’m learning to lean into discomfort, to speak up, and to act with purpose because in the end, it’s not the things I tried and failed at that I’ll regret, but the chances I didn’t take.
