Meet Encino Makeup Artist: Jannell Ratliff

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jannell Ratliff (Jae)

Jae grew up with a rebel spirit and often found herself grounded.  Stuck in her room, she tells us she “would draw like crazy all over [her] bedroom walls.”  She knew she was artistic, she started watching youtube videos and got inspired by some of the emerging makeup stars and starting learning and practicing and was amazed by the ability to completely transform yourself.  It’s incredible what the technology platforms (like youtube) of our generation have been able to produce – Jae was self taught via youtube videos and today she is one of LA’s rising stars in makeup.

We are so impressed by how down to earth and easy to talk to she was. She notes, “I am very humble, and spontaneous! I have incredible creative potential which allows me to think outside of the box when offering my services. I am able to visualize the perfect look for any and everyone. I am extremely personable and my customer service is exceptional. I have worked with all different cultures, colors, shapes and sizes. I’m awesome, and hope to that I can spread my talents to inspire any and everyone who discovers my existence!”  We agree.

Her determination, rebel spirit, artistic leanings and creativity are hard to miss when speaking with her.  She is on the up and up and we cannot wait to see how far she goes.
