Meet Hollywood Makeup Artist: Danisha Gipson

Today we’d like to introduce you to Danisha Gipson.

Danisha is the quintessential entrepreneur meets creative artist who is able to get inspired by art and bring it to life in new contexts.  Her story is one of enormous drive and sacrifice coupled with skill, talent, and chutzpah.  When starting out she painted over a thousand faces for free to get her foot in the door and along the way met mentors like Scott Hebert and celebrity photographer Moses Mitchell, who have help propel her career to new heights.  She travels with destination photographer Christine Chang and has developed significant bridal and editorial experience.  She is also a photographer herself and so she understands lighting and all the technical aspects that go into a great shot.  In fact, her knowledge allows her to apply makeup to create flawless images that require no Photoshop editing. As if that wasn’t enough, she is also laying the foundation for a media empire, starting with a lifestyle magazine in New York.  Her drive and determination are unparalleled and we are so excited to see where her talents take her next.
