Meet Lisa Loggins of Los Angeles

Today we’d like to introduce you to Lisa Loggins

Hi Lisa, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I started out at the age of 7. I was in my first commercial for a local hospital in Michigan. It was fun and I was hooked. I took my love for acting and performed in school plays and church productions, later attending Wayne State University where I obtained my degree in Theatre. I signed with a local agency and began working in front of the camera and behind the scenes as a producer. I later obtained representation in California and began booking jobs, at which time my agent and manager thought it best for me to relocate here to Los Angeles.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
I use to put a lot of pressure on myself to book. I studied and studied trying to “get it” when in fact, I learned it’s nothing that you can ever “get” because it is all based around human behavior. Sure, you can learn all the technical things an actor should know but the best knowledge comes from studying people and then using your imagination to become your version of that person. That was hard for me at first. Now that I realize that, I relax and go with the flow. I also lost money producing a huge project. That hurt but it taught me a lot.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am an actor/producer known for having a supporting role in the movies, Blindspot, Sick Day, and Yaniv to name a few. I also recently produced a feature that I am the lead in titled Unrequited Love. It is currently in post production.

What are your plans for the future?
I just booked a told in another feature that will begin filming this week so I am excited about that. I’m so grateful to be booking and producing. I will be producing my next feature in the near future.
