My journey began in the world of software development, where I honed my skills as a developer and later evolved into a solution architect. After years of experience, I realized my passion extended beyond coding; I wanted to build something of my own. In 2018, I took the leap and founded my company in Yerevan with just three talented intern developers.
Starting in a modest office, I dedicated myself to not only guiding my team through projects but also mentoring them to become exceptional developers. Watching them grow was incredibly rewarding, and together, we achieved remarkable success. From 2018 to 2023, our company experienced an astounding 200-250% annual growth, a testament to our hard work and commitment to excellence.
In 2022, we expanded our horizons by launching a new branch in California. This move opened up new opportunities and allowed us to tap into the vibrant tech landscape of the United States. Today, I am proud to lead a diverse team of 40 specialists, each contributing their unique skills and perspectives.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The road has certainly had its challenges. One of the initial hurdles was the limited ability to reach clients directly from Armenia. Being a small player in a global market, we faced obstacles in establishing our brand awareness and building trust with potential clients. It took significant effort to showcase our capabilities and prove that we could deliver exceptional results despite our location.
In 2023, the tech industry faced significant headwinds, including widespread cutoffs and shifting market demands. This environment created additional pressure on our operations and client relationships. We had to adapt quickly, reassessing our strategies and focusing on building resilient partnerships to navigate these turbulent times.
Despite these struggles, each challenge has provided valuable lessons and opportunities for growth. We’ve learned to be more agile and innovative, and these experiences have ultimately strengthened our resolve to succeed in this dynamic industry.
