Hi Lance, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I started off in what we now call the “grey area” the very early 2000’s with a belief that I can grow better medicine then what was available currently. From that point on I devoted my life to growing cannabis and continuing to grow at the highest level possible. During the last 2 decades I have fought government raids, asset forfeiture, money laundering charges, and cultivation charges. But through all of it I never let any of those circumstances take away my love for cultivating this incredible plant. Now it’s 2024 and we have licensed cultivation grow facilities in multi states. Through my incredible passion for cultivating, and having a desire to help fellow cultivators and help the next generation I developed all kinds of irrigation products and supplemental lighting available on www.craftfarmer.com. We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
NO …. Where do we start. It was against the law. The risk was scary. That’s risk/reward caught up to me. I have gone through raids, raids which lead to asset forfeiture. Everything is just taken like that. Everything you have moved out. All though I was operating under Prop 215 they didn’t look at it that way. Through all these hardships and major set backs I never let up on my intensity or how bad I wanted to create something special no matter what I was doing. So I kept pushing and pushing super hard and top the best of my ability for years. It seemed like every time I I started moving forward something would happen but I never let up. I look back now and the greatest thing Im thankful for is how hard I worked everyday. No matter what happened and how hard the struggle was I never let up.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
First and foremost Im a cultivator with a deep deep love for the plant. I have been growing cannabis for the last 18 years. My extreme passion and drive for the plant and growing the best plant medicine possible has lead into other amazing opportunities as all of the US is becoming medical/recreational legal in a majority of states. So we cultivate and run cultivation facilities in multiple states. What quality or characteristic do you feel is most important to your success?
Being relentless. Growing is like being a black belt in karate. It takes extreme dedication to be really good, stay good, and continue to get better. Growing super fire on the highest level is very hard. It’s a very fast hamster wheel that never stops. Keeping your energy 24/7 and being in LOVE with what you do. You have to fall in love with the grind.
