Today we’d like to introduce you to Terrill Carter

Hi Terrill, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I decided to move to Los Angeles in 2011 determined to pursue my dream of becoming a successful singer. It was a leap of faith, but one that I knew was necessary to chase my ambitions.
One of the recent highlights of my career was being cast in the out-of-the-box theater company’s all-female version of the iconic play, Jesus Christ Superstar. It was an exhilarating experience, pushing boundaries and reimagining a classic in a whole new light. This opportunity not only showcased my talent but also opened doors to new possibilities.
The release of my debut solo album “Feels Like This” in 2023, didn’t only fulfill a lifelong dream but also brought me unexpected connections and collaborations.
One such collaboration was with the renowned Christian country singer-songwriter, Jackie Jack White. Our paths crossed, and we instantly clicked, leading to a remarkable journey together. I had the privilege of flying out to Meridian, Mississippi, to perform at the prestigious Jimmy Rogers Festival alongside Jackie. It was a surreal experience, sharing the stage with a musical icon and connecting with audiences in ways I never thought possible.
I’ve also had the incredible opportunity to be a contestant on, the brand new gameshow “The 1%Club which airs on FoxTV June 3rd 2024… And will be available on Prime Video all summer long!
Looking back on my journey, I’m filled with gratitude for every twist and turn that has led me to where I am today.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
While my journey has been filled with incredible moments and achievements, it hasn’t been without its fair share of challenges and struggles. Moving to Los Angeles alone was a daunting step, leaving behind familiarity for the unknown.
Financial struggles were also a reality, as I juggled odd jobs to make ends meet while pursuing my passion for music. Rejection became a familiar companion, with countless auditions and opportunities that didn’t pan out as I had hoped. Each setback tested my resolve and forced me to dig deeper, pushing me to refine my skills and persevere despite the odds.
In retrospect, I see that the struggles were an integral part of my journey, shaping me into the artist and individual I am today. They taught me invaluable lessons, instilled in me a relentless drive to never give up on my dreams, and reminded me that the path to success is rarely linear but always worth pursuing.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
One aspect I’m known for is my versatility as an artist. Whether it’s delivering powerful ballads that tug at the heartstrings or uplifting anthems that inspire hope, I strive to connect with listeners on a deep emotional level. My ability to captivate audiences with heartfelt storytelling and soulful vocals sets me apart and has garnered recognition within the industry.
What sets me apart from others is my unwavering authenticity and faith-driven perspective. I believe in using my platform to spread messages of love, hope, and faith, connecting with audiences on a deeper spiritual level. My music is not just about entertainment but about making a positive impact and uplifting others through the power of song.
I host a Friday night livestream on YouTube with karaoke and live music…. to share knowledge about becoming an artist and to promote other artists and creatives! I’m dedicated to creating music that moves people, inspires change, and leaves a lasting impression on the hearts of listeners. And as I continue on this journey, I’m excited to explore new horizons, push creative boundaries, and share my unique voice with the World.
