Life & Work with Masha Berenboym of Los Angeles

Today we’d like to introduce you to Masha Berenboym

Hi Masha, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
My story is one of passion, creativity, and a drive for unforgettable experiences. I’m proud to say 10 years later, we are celebrating a decade of perseverance crafted around diversity in the entertainment/live event space. In 2014, I founded ACE (Artists Creating Entertainment) with a burning desire to craft memorable moments. What started as a humble catering support agency swiftly evolved into a prominent player in the luxury event entertainment industry.

With a background in Hotel Event Sales in the Beverly Hills market and a professional dance background, ACE expanded rapidly, embracing all facets of event entertainment. My knack for spotting talent and crafting captivating designs propelled ACE forward.

Through innovation and a commitment to quality, ACE became renowned for its cutting-edge productions, casting, themed events, product launches, and immersive experiences. I’ve always aimed to exceed expectations, pushing boundaries to elevate my clients’ visions.

It’s remarkable how out of the box ideas we receive and create and most of the time it goes something like this: “I have a weird request, who do I call, oh yeah Masha and the ACE team!”

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
While my journey with ACE has been incredibly rewarding, it hasn’t been without its challenges. Like any entrepreneurial endeavor, there were hurdles to overcome and obstacles to navigate.

One of the early struggles was establishing credibility and gaining recognition in the competitive event entertainment industry. Breaking into new sectors beyond catering required building trust with clients and demonstrating our capabilities.

Managing growth was another significant challenge. As ACE expanded its services and client base, maintaining quality and consistency became paramount. Balancing the demands of scaling up while preserving the essence of our brand was a delicate process.

Additionally, staying ahead of industry trends and evolving client expectations presented ongoing challenges. We had to continuously innovate and adapt to remain relevant and competitive in a dynamic market.

Overall, while the road may not have always been smooth, each challenge provided an opportunity for growth and learning. Through perseverance, resilience, and a commitment to excellence, we’ve overcome obstacles and positioned ACE as a leader in the event entertainment industry.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
My superpower lies in creative thinking, seamlessly integrating top talent into distinctive and unconventional settings, all while weaving captivating narratives that engage all the senses. I consider how they’ll appear, behave, and resonate, collaborating closely with designers and producers to ensure that talent becomes an integral part of the guest experience.

My reputation also stems from my commitment to innovation, always ready to pivot in new directions to keep creativity vibrant and fresh. With abundant energy, I thrive in large gatherings, orchestrating the atmosphere to ensure everyone feels seen, heard, and touched by the experience. Inclusivity is paramount to me.

Above all, I take pride in ACE’s unwavering commitment to its mission: to showcase talent and foster a safe, familial environment. What sets me apart is my genuine care for each individual’s needs, coupled with a flair for creative solutions. We’re not afraid to push boundaries and astonish people with our imaginative creations.

Before we let you go, we’ve got to ask if you have any advice for those who are just starting out?
Have faith in your instincts, and recognize that you can’t cater to everyone’s needs. Identify your strengths and focus on honing them. Don’t rush into new ventures until you’ve truly mastered what you’ve already built. Don’t hesitate to seek assistance from your community, as people are often willing to lend a hand. Identify a core group of leaders who can mentor and steer you in the right direction. You can’t navigate this journey alone, so be prepared to put yourself out there; otherwise, it may be best not to pursue it at all.
