Life & Work with Anastasia Rine

Today we’d like to introduce you to Anastasia Rine.

Anastasia Rine

Hi Anastasia, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today.
I moved to LA at 22; I was just out of college, where I studied marketing. I had no intention of pursuing it as a career, plus I was fully alone in a new country. To say I was kinda lost is to say nothing:) I decided to start modeling as my English wasn’t that great either, took a lot of collaborative shoots, slowly made some connections, and just kept working on building myself up.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It has definitely not been a smooth road; I have never modeled before and didn’t really know what was normal and what was not. I didn’t know how to set boundaries, how to stand up for myself. It took some time to really learn how everything works, find myself creatively and understand the direction I am going in.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am a model and a content creator. I like to style and direct my creative shoots; I think that’s the most fun part of what I do. I take a lot of dance classes and like to incorporate it into my creative content, it really inspires me. I also do YouTube and TikTok where I mostly focus on fashion and trends.

What would you say has been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
To stay true to yourself. As a creative, you might wanna measure your success by how many likes it gets, but I think as long as YOU feel successful with your work, that’s all that matters. Also, while working with other creatives, it is important to not lose your vision to theirs and create something where both parties can align with the final result.
