Meet Emmy Hernandez of Soulmate Love University

Today we’d like to introduce you to Emmy Hernandez.

Hi Emmy, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. The first-born to Mexican immigrants from Jalisco. Neither of my parents had the opportunity to finish elementary school and I had the honor and privilege of getting a full ride to UC Berkeley. I started my career in marketing after I graduated and that was a fulfilling career. When I was 22, I got into a very dangerous, toxic relationship with a man that I thought I was in love with. For two years, I was manipulated psychologically, emotionally, and financially to bend to his every will, including turning down an assistant professor position at a well-known community college because he didn’t want me to interview with a man. I was able to escape this man’s grasp, and that started my journey of healing my mindset around love.

I realized that I was a smart, educated, financially capable woman who fell into a trap of “love” that was actually narcissistic abuse. I invested in up-leveling this area of my life and found incredible coaches, programs, and books that changed my life. Fast forward to today, I have been married to the man of my dreams for two years, and my company, Soulmate Love University, is starting its third official year of business. The company started because after I got engaged, I was flooded with messages from smart, independent women wanting to know how I had met such an incredible man. And although the quick answer is “Bumble,” the long answer is what became my signature course to help financially independent, smart, beautiful women find a man who wants to cherish and protect them while being an equal partner in life and love. The business has grown to multiple 6 figures with minimal marketing, and we’re on track to $1M in revenue for 2024.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Definitely NOT a smooth road. Anyone who is an entrepreneur can tell you that some days you end the day with tears of celebration and others tears of disappointment and frustration. The business initially started with just Facebook posts organically, with me sharing my story and inviting women to immersions or challenges. As the FB algorithm changed, so did my reach and therefore my tactics. It is a constant iteration of getting my name out to the right audience and the aligned people for partnership. I’m grateful every day for the incredible clients who have already met their partners through my signature program and sent me referrals. Nothing warms my heart more than getting a “Save the Date” for a client’s upcoming wedding to an absolutely perfect match for them. They make it all the hard days so worth it.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Soulmate Love University?
I am the CEO and Founder of Soulmate Love University. I help smart, educated, financially independent women find their true Soul’s match. We work on healing and upleveling the mindset around love and its true definition. We heal the nervous system and its triggers. The women I work with refuse to settle in work, career, or business but are often told to “settle” in love because they are asking for too much and don’t know how to go about actually finding healthy men to date. I walk my clients through a PROVEN system to become magnetic to only the right type of men and attract the perfect match. I don’t believe in settling in anything in life, especially the person you choose as your romantic partner for life. I also help power couples who work together to bring “the spark back.” Working together as a couple is not easy, and it can create some very dangerous dynamics that will destroy the romance if not addressed in a healthy manner. I am passionate about letting people know that romantic relationships and marriage are NOT hard when you’re with the right person, and I’m on a mission to change the dynamics about how dating should be done from a place of joy and fun instead of a chore. What quality or characteristic do you feel is most important to your success?
My resilience. In this world, it is really easy to fail… A LOT. I’ve learned to realize that every time I “fail,” it’s because I tried something new, and now I get to learn and iterate from that event. I never give up on my dreams, but I do change the path according to new information and amazing people who offer expert guidance.
