Sara Sadr, a Canadian-born Iranian, is deeply passionate about the world of beauty. Drawing inspiration from her family, particularly her beauty industry professional mom and aunts, Sara believes in enhancing and amplifying one’s natural beauty. Since her teenage years, makeup artistry has been her fervent pursuit. As a highly skilled HMUA, Sara has achieved remarkable feats, including working with celebrities and traveling globally to cities like NYC, LA, Mexico, Dubai, Iran, and more. Notably, she received a nomination for the Makeup Artistry in Fashion Industry Award at Vancouver Fashion Week. In 2020, Sara launched her eyebrow brand, PUSH IT UP BROWS, which is now available throughout Canada and worldwide.

Makeup artists navigate challenges like intense competition, freelance unpredictability, and the constant need for self-promotion. Balancing client expectations, staying updated with industry trends, and managing the physical demands of the job are part of the journey. Despite these hurdles, the opportunity for creative expression and positively impacting clients’ confidence makes the profession rewarding.

Sara Sadr specializes in Fashion/Editorial, Red Carpet Looks, and Bridal Looks. With 8-9 years of experience in the beauty industry doing Makeup and Hairstyling + Brow Services, what sets her apart from other industry professionals is her ability to truly connect with the client/model and deliver exactly what they are looking for.
Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
My mother, who is my true mentor deserves credit to my success. She is the one who has always been by my side and always pushed me to be the best version of myself and to never give up.
