Meet Ashton Koontz of MNMLPHOTOGRAPHY

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ashton Koontz.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Since the beginning, I have always been entrepreneurial-spirited and wanted to be the owner of my own companies or start-up projects. I published my self-development book “The Brilliant Boss”, back in November of 2022. A project I worked on for years finally got its moment, and the feedback was so amazing and I couldn’t be more proud. At the top of this year, 2023, I launched my photography business MNMLPHOTOGRAPHY. Capturing moments is something I love doing, and being able to have ideas come to life through a vision on a lens is so special. As of now, I have been working on quite a few things that I can’t mention as of right now but is coming very soon.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Definitely not, I have had my struggles, my fails, and my lows. I think obstacles are something that makes you stronger on the other side, so it is very important to keep moving forward no matter how hard it may get! Failure shapes success and you may not always find the right details to perfect something, or a potential client may not work out, etc.

As you know, we’re big fans of MNMLPHOTOGRAPHY. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
MNMLPHOTOGRAPHY is my photography business I launched at the beginning of this year. It is still growing and in the beginning stages because it is a side hustle that I am passionate about. I am so proud of my brand image and website because it shows my vibe as a person and showcases the type of photography I love. The route I want to take as a photographer  is creative direction, business and creative, senior shoots, etc. I would love for any readers to check it out and potentially book with me, I am always open to traveling for a shoot or making anyone’s vision come to life.

What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
I see the industry I am in growing even more than it has today. Trends and algorithms are ever-changing so there will definitely be new social media platforms, new ways of doing things, more innovative approaches to the space. As time goes on, it is crucial to adapt to changes and incorporate new things to your business.
