Hi Eleanor, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I knew from a very young age that I would go on a path of design and artistry. My introspective, sensitive, and precocious nature bestowed upon me an early understanding of life’s disappointments, and art became the portal to my enchanted realm. Within the realm of painting, I could transform into a regal princess residing in a majestic castle or a mystical elf wielding boundless magic. As I matured, I grappled with the weight of past experiences and the anxieties of an uncertain future, and it was through art that I embarked on a journey of self-exploration and self-expression. Art became my sanctuary, a charging station for moments of confusion, infusing me with solace.
Through the lens of art, I have forged a unique pursuit of beauty and cultivated a deep longing to engage with the world. Driven by my unwavering passion, a resolute sense of purpose, and a steadfast belief in the transformative power of creativity, I embarked on my educational journey at ArtCenter College of Design. Here, I chose to specialize in graphic design, honing my skills in UI/UX and Motion Graphics. Along this educational odyssey, I fortuitously uncovered a medium through which I could convey my innermost self and effect change in the world.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
My journey in the realms of art and design has been a remarkably smooth one, albeit not devoid of challenges. Success in this path owes much to the unwavering support of my parents, my resolute vision for the future, and an unyielding commitment to refining my craft day and night.
My artistic odyssey was first nurtured by my mother, who discerned a unique sensitivity to art within me, distinct from my approach to other subjects. Recognizing my artistic gift, she encouraged me from a young age. At the tender age of 13, I embarked on a professional journey in painting, juggling the demands of my studies with the rigors of art training. This experience instilled in me an enduring resilience and an unshakable work ethic that pushes me to give 120%.
Upon my arrival at ArtCenter College of Design, I faced the crucible of rigorous coursework and countless late nights. However, these days have proven to be the most fulfilling of my life. Here, I revel in the boundless opportunities to create, cherishing the joy of crafting beautiful and engaging works. The relentless day and night-creative process in an industry I adore brings me both relaxation and unwavering confidence.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am a passionate graphic designer specializing in motion design and UI/UX design. Through my work, I strive to unlock new dimensions within our world. As a designer, I possess the unique ability to transcend conventional boundaries, encouraging fresh perspectives. My approach involves dissecting and scrutinizing established norms, then skillfully reassembling and fusing them into a realm that seamlessly blurs the line between reality and fantasy.
My wellspring of creativity and boundless imagination serves as the bridge between the tangible and the surreal. In this space, where reality and imagination coexist harmoniously, I aim to shatter the confines of convention, creating a realm free from constraints and limitations.
I am an individual deeply committed to setting and achieving goals. Within the structure of my meticulously organized life and rigorous planning, I continually seek to expand my knowledge and absorb new information. I understand the importance of self-motivation and value the input and guidance of others in my journey.
So maybe we end on discussing what matters most to you and why?
“Within the realm of boundless imagination, there exists an expanse for the soul to roam freely, and the vibrant hues it paints are a remedy for the world’s sorrows.” My artistic goal is to wield the power of my creations as a source of solace for the wounded and a beacon for those lost in darkness. The most important thing for me is I hold dear the pursuit of inner tranquility and the gift of happiness.
The process of artistic creation, for me, is not only an intimate embrace of my own spirit but also an extended hand to the viewer, inviting them into a world of enchantment. Perhaps within my flights of fancy, the beholder may find a fleeting moment of celestial bliss, an hour of respite, or even an entire day of joy. This is the very essence of my artistic journey.
My body of work predominantly takes the form of abstract compositions, alive with vivid colors and intricate forms. My intent is to leave an indelible mark, to stir emotions, and to etch unforgettable memories into the viewer’s consciousness.
Photography and 3D animation serve as my vessels to craft an infinite, uncharted universe where boundaries cease to exist. I yearn to engage in countless waltzes with my audience within this realm, a space brimming with exaggerated energy, a realm of healing. It is through these expressions that I aspire to define my identity as a designer and leave an enduring impact on the world.”
