My journey to where I am today has been driven by an unwavering ambition and a strong sense of independence. From a young age, I exhibited leadership qualities and excelled in both academics and sports. However, as a teenager, I rebelled against the conventional path set for me by my teachers and parents, which led to a period of struggle and distraction.
In an effort to refocus my life, my parents made the decision to send me to an accelerated high school across the country. This turning point allowed me to regain my focus and dedication to my studies. I completed high school a year ahead of my peers at the age of 16, and this achievement sparked a vision within me.
I was determined to be disciplined, focused, and free from distractions. I made a commitment to give my 100% effort to achieve early retirement before the age of 35. With my head down and my blinders on, I started college studies at 16, supporting myself throughout my education. I worked diligently during summers and winters, completing my bachelor’s degree in less than three years at the age of 19.
Not content with just a bachelor’s degree, I dove into my master’s and, during this time, was recruited to work for a prominent $30B biotech company, where I earned six figures at the age of 20. I pursued my MBA and Ph.D. simultaneously while working, and during this period, I began investing in the financial markets.
My early investments in companies like $GME and $DOGE fueled my passion for the markets, as I witnessed remarkable returns on my investments, turning a five-figure sum into multiple six-figures. This newfound obsession led me to leave my job and become a full-time investor. I relocated to Puerto Rico to launch my own entrepreneurial venture, LemVega Capital.
Starting with my initial strategy in trading, I transformed LemVega Capital into our first hedge fund. Over the past year, our firm has experienced tremendous growth, expanding our team to over 20 talented individuals and launching an additional four funds across various asset classes.
Currently, we are on a hyper-growth trajectory, working towards managing assets under management (AUM) of over half a billion dollars. Our success is a result of dedication, discipline, and a relentless pursuit of excellence in the world of investment management.
