Daily Inspiration: Meet Virginia Anders

Today we’d like to introduce you to Virginia Anders.

Hi Virginia, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I moved to Los Angeles from a small town in Texas when I was 13 years old. I had an agent in modeling and acting. I did many commercials, independent films, short films, and print modeling, Once covid hit, things slowed down. Auditions were far and few. My partner Saeed and I ran Airbnb businesses in downtown la and north Hollywood which also slowed down due to everything being shut down.

My partner and I decided to expand to Miami temporarily doing real estate and luxury car rentals since everything was booming there. Fast forward, my partner and I were blessed with the news we were expecting a baby girl. During pregnancy in the midst of covid, we couldn’t really sit still. We found that opportunity to travel around the world (safely of course) and enjoy different views, cultures, and ways of living. Some people would call it a baby-moon. Now that my daughter Sueña is a year and a half we are in the process of getting signed to an agency where we can do mommy and me campaigns and sharing my love for acting as a family. Becoming a mother has brought a whole new joy and purpose in life. Between balancing acting, modeling, fitness & health, being a full-time mommy, and traveling we are always on the go. My ultimate and most important job is raising my daughter Sueña. Teaching her about different cultures and ways of living. Letting her experience the most out of life and diversity. Seeing the world thru her eyes is the best gift I could ever have imagined.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
– Moving away from my family at the age of 13 was difficult. My mom made sacrifices so I could have a chance of better opportunities and following my dreams.

– During covid everything being shut down, money and business looked uncertain and had to make a quick transition.

– Being pregnant expecting a baby during covid, not knowing where this illness was going or when it would end.
