Rising Stars: Meet Nate Anderson

Today we’d like to introduce you to Nate Anderson. They and their team shared their story with us below:

Nate Anderson is a former college football athlete from Columbus, Ohio who studied at Heidelberg and Ohio University. Originally interested in pursuing a career in criminal justice, Nate took a drama class and switched his major to film studies. He continues his training and lives in Los Angeles.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
A lot of ups and downs working multiple jobs, Auditioning, Networking. Covid was a huge struggle because it required a lot of patience during the lockdowns of staying ready for things while nothing was allowed to go on. It was a huge learning experience for me because while some packed their bags to head home, I stayed in La the whole time through the lockdowns so this place will always be a special place to me

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am an Actor/Model. I went to Ohio University for Film & Media studies. Very much still in the beginning stages. I’m most proud of staying in it for the long run versus moving to La for a year timeline and seeing what happens. What sets me apart from others is that I’m here for the long run no matter the outcome.

How do you define success?
Success to me is defined in our day-to-day actives, daily goals & tasks. Over the past few years I’ve worked to develop this “Win the Day” mentality so it helps me break down the long run into little tasks that’s achievable to stay on the road.
