Today we’d like to introduce you to Brandon Swanson.
Hi Brandon, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
It all started from acting out Dragonball Z fights in my friend’s semblance of a backyard to working in Super Bowl Commerical, Hollywood Horror Nights competing in film festivals, and making short films that rock the very essence of your heartstrings. The journey is a fun one. Add in four years of active military service, two major heartbreaks and you’ll have me. The 30-year-old spear of my family.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Military service. Homelessness.
Disability.
Lack of support system.
Friends.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I am a Lead actor. I specialize in drama content. I’m known for my outgoing off-the top nature. Think Marlon Wayans mixed with Jerry Sienfield. I am most proud of my journey and how I’m still here after watching waves of people give up. I am proud that my film “A breath of fresh air” is in the festival circuit. I am proud of the future I made of myself and friends.
If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
Naruto Ninja way. Kobe Bryant’s “Mamba Mentality”. The ability to distinguish between decorative and true art. Tenacity. My charisma. But ultimately I would say it’s the desire to live out my dreams. This is the life I wanted since I was six. Once I have a goal, I ain’t stopping until it’s complete. They say the only way to kill a dream is to achieve it.
